His hunger was forgotten now. Now his attention was completely on the dragon’s wings. “Yes but I didn’t get a good look at them. You tried to fight me remember?” It wasn’t held against him however. Ryou knew life was cruel and kept keep on their toes.
This could go the same for the dragon. But he didn’t think of that right now, it could wait for another day. A hand reached out to touch the extended wing but came up short. “Ah, do you mind if I touch them? I promise not to pinch them.” He teased.
“Ah, right I did.” He scratched lightly at his cheek as he recalled that moment. It was a fit of self-defense, trying to protect what was his and fight off another. He was glad that he hadn’t gone and decided to strike first.
The dragon shakes his head, even letting his wing move closer to the other. “Go ahead. Don’t pinch or pluck any feathers.” He trusted the other wouldn’t but figured a warning should be said.

Ryou nodded, “Yes! I am! And yes, my childhood home. The place where I grew up. The doors are much bigger than the speakeasy, and there is a large living room with a carpet and a fireplace.” he said softly wondering if this concept was foreign to Diva. He pointed in the direction and started walking. “Although I do apologize now, it may be dusty in there. I try my best to do some cleaning now and then, but its just too much for only one person.” He muttered and looked up at Diva. “Do dragons leave their home nest when they are old enough? “
He tries to imagine the place he’s speaking of. His imagination probably doesn’t do it justice, just a larger place in which he could move around in. Surprisingly, hearing the doors being bigger is something that catches his interest. No more ducking and trying to fit in- the rest of it being spacious was a great thing to. “It sounds...cozy.” He waves a hand to his little apology. “It’s fine. I just hope that I don’t end up sneezing.” He didn’t want dust to find its way and then something catch fire there.
“Hmm...most do. They usually try to find and make a lair of their own. It’s not the easiest thing to do, but some still stay together.”

“ppft!” Be playfully blew a raspberry. He shook his head and waved a hand. “For you my friend, I cannot be busy. You’ve seen what I do. I slink around town, pick up a few things here and there go on a hitch for some things, come back sing and dance and entertain people who want to have a good ol’ time.” I really don’t mind helping patch it up, so long as I’m alive.” He said with a warm nod and smile.
When Diva partially held out his wings, Ryou could not help but to lean to the side peering at Diva’s large wings, inspecting them. “Hm…I would normally say you should be alright if they are feathers since feathers generally are water resistant or waterproof, but I don’t know much about dragon preening….grooming?” he muttered with curiosity. “But…I think you’d be right about wanting to get out of the weather and stay warm. “
The singer looked up at Diva and back down at his feet. He knew dragons could generate heat, but did that mean they had an internal heat core or were they still quote in quote cold-blooded in nature? So many questions he wanted to ask Diva, “…I’m actually going to visit my childhood home to check on things. Would you like to stay the night? It’s bigger than the speakeasy so you can stretch out in there, I’ll even start a fire too if you’d like.” he said shifting his bag on his shoulder.
“Well, I wouldn’t want to interrupt you when you’re doing one of your songs.” Like earlier, he supposed, but that was different. It seemed to be more for fun rather than for the stage. “You do some funny things.” Weird things, but they did seem fun, different. He felt warm to his response of patching it up for as long as he could. It was a nice, kind thought.
“As long as I don’t get dunked in water, they’re alright. I just don’t like the feeling of them all wet.” If the weather was harsher, he’d really dislike being out and about. But, in something more tame, so light, he could manage it. There wasn’t much to complain about since he had taken to walking over flight while here. He’s grateful that flying to get around here isn’t a common thing.
He tries to keep his wings close to his body. Maybe it’s just because he’s not used to the weather or dislikes the feeling of it. He’d rather be inside or just out of the cold. “Your childhood home?” That had gotten him curious. He had assumed that most humans couldn’t really return to a home from their past. Perhaps he was one of the few that could. “If you’re inviting me to, then yes. I’d rather not impose but I really do want to get inside a building. And that sounds nice. If you need the help starting it though, I can be of assistance.”

Being new to exploring the world Ryou shrugged. Fishing or hunting wasn’t something he learned to do. He mostly stayed at home and cooked. His food was bought by his parents and later in life he bought it himself.
“If you’re willing to teach me I don’t mind…” Then he stopped to look at him. Eyes widen with excitement and awe as he got closer. “Wings? You got wings? Let me see! Can you fly high? How high?” More questions were thrown at the dragon as Ryou thought of the possibilities of what they could do together.
“I could, but I’m not sure how to go about it...” It didn’t hurt to try though. Hunting wise and simply waiting for a moment to strike would be all the same. It was only the difference in weapons that he was at a loss for. But, perhaps that was something he didn’t need to help out with anyway.
“You didn’t see them before?” Then again he hadn’t shown them off, not like how he is now. He lets one stretch out as much as possible so the human could get a better look at it. “Very high! Over mountains.” The dragon seemed proud at that.
