#that’s the RAF (british) roundrel but the French flag?#who is she#edit I have looked it up and it’s a holdover from ww2#it is not the French flag it’s the british tail flash. Apparently the Union Jack looked too much like the German flag from a distance#so they reduced it into just the colors of the Union Jack as stripes#read from front of the plane to the back as red-white-blue and easier to ID from the ground. so they didn’t get shot by friendlies as much

Have y'all seen this 😭
#@ prev on 'what do you mean my pilot took a shortcut'#it means that your pilot got clearance to fly a more direct and faster route to your destination#normally flight paths are along designated like. air roads. between GPS waypoints. and depending on traffic and weather and w/e#a flight path that goes waypoint A-B-C-D-E and is 300 miles may be shortened to smth like A-C-E thats 150 miles instead

the thing about adulthood is when someone says something extremely rude to you, you can either turn the other cheek or calmly & firmly correct them. The third option is to tell them “say that again, I’ll bite you” & everyone sort of nervously laughs and tries to move on from your little joke. Which is why I think it’s very important that when they do say it again you follow through. Nobody actually expects you to bite them. We should be biting more. Also if you’re with the county health department do not read thi s post

I need to share how the IT guy at work greeted my department on CrowdStrike Blue Screen Friday. Never have I seen a man so shocked by the sight of perfectly functional computers
(They were off during the update)

Aviation investigation channels: this crash happened because the captain forgot to set the trim and didn't follow his pre-flight checklist or maintain proper altitude
Shipwreck investigation channels: the clouds were in the shape of a dog on the day of the sinking which was a terrible omen, the captain stepped out of the latrine with his left foot first, putting a curse on the ship.
