I love trans royalty. There's so many possibilities:

A "princess" comes out as a guy, and suddenly theres a new prince in the line of succession. War? Intrigue? A heartwarming tale of brotherly acceptance?

A king and queen who are actually the same person. They're never seen in the same room. Think Radagon from Elden Ring but gayer.

A lesbian princess who reluctantly accepts a diplomatic marriage to a prince. Turns out, prince is confused about their gender, and they go on a journey of self discovery that terminates in wlw.

I was so excited to learn about yamato and then would consume one piece stuff with him in it to see the representation but was met with the fandom who didn't take the time to understand his character or would be blatantly transphobic about him. so it's kind of bittersweet to think about, he COULD have been great representation for gnc transmasculine people but I feel it fell short

Been meaning to do this for a while. To my fellow transmasc* One Piece fans—ignoring what Oda's intentions might have been, and going only by what's shown in the manga—
