Dear Tumblr,

You have helped people out before, and I pray that you will help me.

I had plans for my spring break, to visit my girlfriend. However, I have since found out that my family simply does not have the money. This would be one of the only chances I have to visit her, since my little stepbrothers visit during the summer, and winter break is for family.

“But do you have something to gain from me~?” Her disposition has changed, the tone of the conversation shifting. “I have 20 souls... I could help you. I’m technically as powerful as a god.” 

She smirks. “We could... strike a deal?” 

“These are the souls of other mages, much like myself. They gave small parts of their souls to make the barrier. Thus, they wouldn’t help anyone trying to pass, destroy, or create a barrier. No less a whole universe.”

“Enough talk, I have business to do and you have nothing to gain from me.”

“... What?” The draconequus frowns, tilting her head. “What do you mean....?”

Admittedly....

Maybe SHE could help him. 

“Oh I am human, or at least I was.” He glares back with a terrifying, toothy grin and wide eyes.

“Don’t worry, you’ll find your next soul. Just not from me, besides. These aren’t even whole human souls. You’d find no use for them.”

“You think I’m a child.” She glares. “And not to mention, you sure don’t look human.” 

She had to convince him somehow! “I’ll do anything, please!” She needed this plan to work, she really did! 

“I don’t care about your existential mission to destroy the timelines of four universes. I worked hard to get these souls and I will not let some over angsty kid with a soul problem just take it so they can do as they please.”

Red Mage put the souls away and pushed the other away. Their hand was cold, boney, and way too long to be human. And yet they looked just like a humans despite the moonlight white pigment.

“Go home, I’ll employ the use of another monster.”

“.... Listen, buddy.... I just need it so I can destroy four timelines, and with them, myself.” She rolls her eyes. “If I don’t get 28, I can’t destroy all four. And then, bam, can’t die. I can and will dust monsters.” 

She was so close!!! 

“Another?”

Constantine pulled the contract away before they could cross their T’s or dot their I’s.

“If you already have souls, I am afraid that this cannot transpire. These must go to those who are desperate for a way out, those who are willing to become a horseman of the apocalypse to their own people. You need no help from me to become what you aren’t.”

Red snatches up the souls and hides them away. The only thing he hated more than a monster was a monster who was greedy.

“Go along now, shoo. You don’t need any of these.”

“.... No determination?” She frowns. Of course.... that perseverance soul.... It could be useful. “I was hoping for the chance to acquire another determined soul.” 

What did she mean by another? 

“... I’ll take the perseverance soul.” She nods, and glances over the contract, before signing in scribbled letters. 

[ *You idiot.]

“Indeed I am. I have kindness, perseverance, patience, justice, and integrity. You can’t have integrity… he’s special.”

Red offered up four of the five souls, each in a bottle with a magic lock attached. Then he offers the contract, legal stuff, something about abiding by it or else, nothing too important. “Pick one.”

“Are you Red Rook? because I am DracoStrings.” Flare’s tail impatiently swings back and forth behind her.

“No, I was not followed. About that soul... What virtues do you have?” 

[Red Rook has gone Idle]

Perfect, now all he had to do was get to this new pawn and give them the soul.

It was as he had stated, in exactly half an hour, to the second, he arrived. And he had 5 bottles of human souls with him as well as a scroll which no doubt was the contract spoken of.

“Are you the one who I spoke with online? Were you followed?”

The draconequus, luckily, LIVED in Hotland! So the only things she had to do were grab a pen, and head off towards that cooler....

She could finally reach her goal.

IMPORTANT PSA FOR NON RP BLOGS FOLLOWING RP BLOGS!

please please take the time to read this post if you are a personal/non roleplay blog and you are following roleplay blogs, especially if you do not roleplay on a sideblog (this post mainly doesn’t apply to people with rp sideblogs)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE RULES ON A ROLEPLAY BLOG BEFORE INTERACTING WITH ANY OF THEIR POSTS! i cannot stress this enough. the rules are there for everyone, not just for other roleplayers. you can think of rules pages as a general “please read before you follow” kind of thing.

while some of us are ask blogs, NOT ALL OF US ARE. a lot of roleplayers draw and post things for their friends and followers, but do not appreciate non roleplay blogs reblogging them. please respect this.

if something is tagged as “dont reblog” DONT REBLOG IT!!! generally, it should be expected that out of character posts, normally denoted by “ooc” or something similar in the tags, should not be reblogged by anyone unless it mentions a specific person and they would like to reblog it as a keepsake. either way, non rp blogs should basically never reblog ooc posts from roleplayers unless it says “okay to reblog” in the tags or they say that it is allowed on their rules page or elsewhere on their blog/in their post

if a roleplay blog reblogs art from an artist or something aesthetic related and you would like to reblog it, please reblog it from the source as to not clutter the roleplay blog’s notifications

as a general rule, (typically unless a roleplay blog doubles as an ask blog but every blog is different) DO NOT like or reblog anyone’s writing on a non roleplay blog. most of us use our notifications page to keep track of replies, so when it gets cluttered with notes from unrelated blogs, it makes our replies very hard to keep up with. we appreciate that you enjoy our writing, but adding unnecessary notes to out posts makes it harder to write! if you like our writing, please do not make it harder for us to write. we understand that this isn’t intentional, but this is generally the effect it has
