Claudia’s plotline in iwtv will always be the most devastating in the franchise to me. she lived & died as she was seen in relation to Louis and Lestat. Their daughter/sister, never just Claudia as she actually was. She died for their sins to a jury who saw her through a false narrative. Never allowed agency over her own life, but forced to be a character in the story of Louis’ suffering and a bandaid to his loneliness and guilt. The moment she found her agency and happiness in Madeline, the sins of her fathers brought her back to heel.
