I thoroughly cannot be bothered to give a shit about Ketch but he is hilarious to me. He’s just like, comically a piece of shit. I love that he’s the worst liar EVER. The way he was like I don’t do relationships and Mary was like yeah neither do I, and he was like really?🥺 completely sold me on him. His dumb fucking backpack with all his silly little inspector gadget machines. I mean WHAT. The way he’ll just show up for no reason and everyone is like goddammit why is ketch here. The twin thing. THE TWIN THING. Dramatic dumbass. This bitch constantly looks like he wants to get railed by every person he’s ever had a scene with. What a punchable man. The only person on this show more cartoonishly, moustache twirlingly, villainous than Ketch was Dick Roman. Being British is just the cherry on top of the easy-things-to-make-fun-of cake. I’m glad they kept him around for no reason because any time he was mentioned or shown past s12 I just sat there going THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE AND INSANE but at least it’s funny.

jimmy novak is a fascinating character to me and at least 80% of the reason for that is that no one in their right mind would ever cast misha collins to play that character. like, misha played him because he was already playing cas but if they had written a guy like jimmy without cas existing first they would never have cast a guy like misha to play him. it's not his type. and it makes jimmy come off really strange in an interesting way.

it haunts me every goddamn day that Bela died letting Dean believe she killed her parents for money and spent her last moments letting him spew his vindictive holier-than-thou bile at her bc she thought she Deserved it (after paralleling him for a season!!!) bc she committed the cardinal sin of Supernatural-world and desecrated the sanctity of the Family Unit and then at the last possible second Kripke's like btw she did it bc her Father (!) was sexually abusing her. and she didn't even pull the trigger she was just talked into it by a demon when she was 14 years old!!!!! and she just couldn't bring herself to tell them. those righteous men. monster-hunters. justice-bringers. but what do you do if your Father (!!!) is the monster. who do you run to who can you tell. 'you wouldn't understand. no one did. never mind.' and they never find out they just never. find out. never mind all the times she looked Dean in the eyes and said you can't judge me, we are the same. he never has to think about or interrogate THAT again. the idea of the Father (!!!!!) as a sexual threat just hangs outside the narrative unsaid and unsayable. oh well looks like that arc is wrapped up . now Bela's in hell. forever. ok. jesus fucking christ.
