30 Day OTP+ Alphabet Challenge

For 30 days, create something based on the day’s later of the alphabet and accompanying word. I gave an example prompt for each word, and but feel free to tweak them as wanted if you’re inspired to do something else with the letter or word of the day. I tried to keep most of them pretty vague, so there are a lot of directions to go in.

Perhaps you’ve noticed there are only 26 letters in the alphabet. Don’t worry, I’m also aware of that: the last 4 day are inspired by special characters on the keyboard.

1. A - Age. Do the otp+ plan on spending their lives together? How do they imagine their relationship years from now?

2. B - Bath. The otp+ share a bath or shower, or bathe as in swimming or sunbathing.

3. C - Commitment. How committed are the otp+? What do they promise to and expect from each other? How do they show their commitment to each other?

4. D - Dance. Do a little dance! Make a little love! Get down tonight! Whoo~!

5. E - Energy! A member of the otp+ is hyper or more hyper than usual.

6. F - Folklore. Write about your otp+ in a fairy or folk tale style. Or: the otp+ shares their favorite folk tales and urban legends.

7. G - Game. The otp+ play a game together.

8. H - Holiday. The otp+ celebrate a holiday or holiday weekend together.

9. I - If. Hypotheticals, uncertainties, worst and best case scenarios, you name it!

10. J - Just in case. The otp+ has all their bases covered. Or at least they think they do…

11. K - Kiss. Write a kissing scene of any kind! Get creative. 😚

12. L - Looks. The otp+ share glances.

13. M - Muscles. The otp+ show off their muscles, or lack their of, flexing for their partner(s).

14. N - Nevermind. Whatever it was, it isn’t important anymore

15. O - Our. In what ways do the otp+ share their lives?

16. P - Past. The otp+ find something that reminds one or both/all of them of the past.

17. Q - Quote. A member of the otp+ remembers something their sweetie told them. It fills them with DETERMINATION!

18. R - Rain. Are the otp+ caught up in the bad weather, cozy inside, or are they somewhere like on a space ship or in the middle of the desert yearning for a good storm?

19. S - Smooth. A taste, texture, a pick up line. Anything as long as it’s smooth.

20. T - Token. Person A gives person B and/or C+ something of theirs. Or arcade tokens. Or both??

21. U - Urban. The otp+ spends some time in a big city

22. V - Vows. Write your otp+’s wedding vows or, if you prefer: love letters to each other.

23. W - Wish. Make a wish!

24. X - Xylophone. There aren’t many x words.

25. Y - Yes. The otp+ or a member of the otp+ accepts a challenge, quest, request, etc.

26. Z - Zoo. The otp+ spend some time observing and/or interacting with animals.

27. & - the otp+ have multiple activities planned. Maybe too many.

28. ! - Surprise! Something unexpected happens. (Ex. A member of the otp+ shows up for a surprise visit)

How does the otp+ react?

29. ? - Time to clear things up! A member of the otp needs something explained.

30. : - It’s Prompt: The Sequel. Write a second part to one of the previous prompts.

Bodyguard Prompts

Anonymous Asked: “Hey mate! May I request some prompts about a prince with some female bodyguards? :D”

Anonymous Asked: “Hey I absolutely adore your bodyguard prompts… can I please ask for some? They are great! (Sorry to bother)”

1. “This is the life. Sweetheart, could you give me a bit of a smile?”

“You do realize that we’d all slit your throat if we could… Your Highness?”

“Of course. That’s what makes it so fun.”

2. “I never asked for this, you know?”

“What, you want me to feel sorry for you? You’re surrounded by beautiful women every day.”

“There’s only one person in the world for me, and it isn’t one of my bodyguards.”

3. “Do you truly expect me to fear them? What sort of coward hides behind WOMEN?”

“The sort who knows how quickly any one of these women could destroy you with her pinky finger.”

4. “Please, release me from your service. The others will protect you well enough on their own.”

“But why would you wish to leave?”

“Because I love you, My Prince. And I always will.”

5. “Stay back!”

“No! I must go to my people!”

“Your people aren’t our responsibility! You are.”

6. “Shouldn’t lovely women like you be looking for husbands by now?”

“Oh, don’t ask them that. My father nearly lost a finger.”

“One of your bodyguards nearly attacked the king?”

7. “It is our duty to protect you, Your Highness.”

“From anything?”

“Yes, of course.”

“What about my father?”

8. “You seem remarkably okay with being protected by women. Most Princes would be offended.”

“I saw you fight, Milady. My only worry is that my family thinks I need such protection. What sort of threat do they know about?”

9. “You do understand that you’re our hostage? Why aren’t you afraid?”

“My bodyguards will be here soon.”

“Should that frighten me? I’ve seen them.”

“Clearly, you haven’t seen them fight.”

10. “Our plan is going swimmingly.”

“He trusts us?”

“I think he might even be a little smitten with you.”

“Excellent. That will make this even easier.”

Character A’s sibling is going to get married off to the prince/princess of another kingdom as it is tradition. Sibling doesn’t want to, so Character A helps them run away. Unfortunately, the wedding must still happen, so A has to marry the prince/princess themself.

1). “So you’re the guy who’s destined to run this craphole?”

“ ‘This guy’? I’m a prince, and I’ll be addressed as such.”

“That shouldn’t have been your biggest issue with that sentence. Your Highness. ”

2). “You think you’re all that, don’t you?”

“I don’t think. I know.”

“So modest.”

“I’ll soon rule the most powerful kingdom that currently exists. I don’t believe modesty should be expected of me.”

3). “Do you ever wonder how many years it will take for the people to start a rebellion and overthrow you, once you’re king?”

“No, I think it about how little effort it would take to have your head cut off and hung on my wall.”

4). “The jewels on the crown you don’t deserve really bring out the color of your eyes.”

“It’s things like that that must make people wonder how you’re still alive.”

“I suppose they figure that if a loser like you will one day be on the throne, then anything is possible.”

5). “I think that if you weren’t a prince, you might be a good tax collector.”

“How so?”

These are all in progress fics I’m following on AO3 right now and I recommend them to all.

Star Wars universe (includes divergent AU’s, so not necessarily canon, but it’s Star Wars still as we know it)

Thwarted by @perrydowning - This is in everyone’s rec list, isn’t it? I mean, if it isn’t I assume that’s cause people just assume everyone’s already reading it.

Codega by @juuls - I held out on reading this for awhile cause I was just like not into the idea of a Rey/Kylo/Hux dynamic but I gave eventually and okay, this story is awesome, and Juuls is an amazing author. Just read it.

Gradations by juuls - Only five chapters so far but it’s certainly captured my interest.

Mitzvah by juuls - Yes, I will admit that I’m a fan of Juuls work at this point. This is an arranged marriage canon compliant Reylo fic and it’s very enjoyable.

Unfinished Matters by adelheid - Star Wars universe au. Okay, warning that it’s a really dark and icky to start with, but lots of potential here. Only two chapters so far.

Bathwater by Hormonal_Trashbag - Wait, this shameless smut started to get a plot?!? This is explicit, very explicit, but has been getting interesting.

Prey by KagamiSorciere (@these-are-the-first-steps) - Like Thwarted, this should be on everyone’s reading list.

Take No Prisoners by Avdal - This fic is dark, kinda creepy, but funny as all hell and has my favorite Rey characterization of all time.

AUs- We ain’t in the Star Wars ‘verse any longer, folks

I’m not always the biggest fan of these type of AU’s, so trust me, if I’m saying read one, it’s really really good.

Demonology 101 by EjBlaKit (@darth-ej) - For some reason I kept bypassing this fic. It just wasn’t seeming that appealing to me. Do not make the same mistake. This fic is amazingly well written and very unique and you should be reading it now.

Lockjaw by bitterbones - A zombie AU. Let me stress here that not only am I kinda meh often on AUs, but I also really don’t like the zombie genre. It doesn’t matter. This fic is awesome. The writing is great. I’m on pins and needles right now waiting for the next update.

Tonight You’re Mine by Arrowswillguideyou - This is the type of fic I don’t usually get into at all and I’m very into this one. I love the characterizations. Modern AU.

Under Skies You Could Drown In by Avdal - Modern AU but paranormally. Really really good. I’m slightly obsessed with this fic.
