i was rewatching the episode in season 4 where they have to fight in the Triceriton arena and i completely forgot they took the emperor HOSTAGE

the fact that RAPH is the one holding the gun is so funny to me. like yea of course he is he is probably the only of them that would actually 100% do it without hesitation

I feel like in all the fanworks I see about the SAINW aftermath, or works about that miniarc in general, it assumes the DamiyoSon/Draco hybrid purposefully sent the turtles to their destinations

Which actually doesn’t make a lot of sense, since Donnie was the one to objectively get the worst experience and not Leo, the turtle the guy *actually* had beef with

I was rewatching it with a friend, and I think their destinations weren’t nearly so intentional. It was probably just based on their last thoughts/actions before the attack

Mikey’s gushing about comics and superheroes? He gets sent to the superhero dimension.

Raph’s working on his motorcycle? He gets sent to the planet-racing competition.

Donnie’s talking to April about time travel? He gets sent to another timeline.

Leo’s training, and probably with the sword Usagi got him for Christmas? He’s sent to Usagi’s world.

I don’t know, it just seems to make more sense this way, and I’ve never seen anyone else think of this before.

ive talked about this before but you will never be to convince me that between leonardo "ghosts are a figment of your imagination" hamato and donatello "and clearly, we all know that it's pizzasaurus, the evil spawn of the loch ness monster and bigfoot" hamato, that LEO is somehow the one that believes in them having innate twin sense. donnie would be running scientific tests over gut feelings to prove that shit with a HUNDRED percent conviction and leo would be so fed up with it

Hey so like

I’ve been getting a friend of mine into TMNT (which has been a great success, he’s watched all of Rise, and we’re currently in the middle of the space arc of 2012)

He’s absolutely in love with Mona and Raph’s sappy shmoopy relationship (same), but was very much rooting for Casey in the earlier seasons

This got me thinking, as I am a fellow RaphMona *and* RaphCasey shipper:

Why dont I ever see people ship all of them at the same time? We’ll see Casey, April, and Donnie in a polycule all the time (at least in the fan content I’m consuming), but every time I look up Raph, it’s one or the other

You telling me Casey wouldn’t be into a giant lizard lady that can kick major ass??? I get in their initial meeting Casey clearly wasn’t as impressed as Raph was, but I think they’d grow to be at least very good friends

They’d make it work, I stg
