I think she thought Syril's partner would be either ugly or some older than her from money (since the address must have surprised her to be that high).

Then she could pick up on them both, or be even harder on Syril. (Judging by how she wanted Dedra to ask her what she thought about her).

And then she sees this beautiful young woman from high Coruscanti society with a career in ISB.

I bet there was a part of Eedy that was mad at Dedra for being so perfect.

I've seen this moment in 202 less spoken about but I've gotta rave about Kyle Soller's performance for these few seconds as it is just too good.

So it's just after Dedra has done the whole bit where she says: "We can't cancel on your mum again. We can't." Then she walks off.

And you literally see him turn around with this look on his face and you can HEAR his inner monologue as he goes from:

"Yeah, that's her. I have a girlfriend, isn't she so cool? Damn, what a cool girlfriend I have, she isn't even afraid to meet my crazy mom, that's how cool she is, she's gonna meet my mom - oh god, SHE'S GOING TO MEET MY MOM and it's happening tomorrow and we're all having dinner tomorrow good god, god help me wtf."

So. Good. That's the moment I was like, yep, the man is down bad for this woman and whatever happens with the two of them is going to be one of the best things I've seen on TV all year.
