Sleep and food have put me in a better mood, and so I am now ambivalently waiting for game play.

This is such a niche question but like. If the companions were in a Orpheus and Eurydice scenario…. Who would turn around?
They would all turn around, for all the companions are mortal and thus weak to the inherant trappings of mortality.
Even Solas, at the Eluvian, turned back to gaze at his Vhenan. The trappings of the heart are not so easily shucked, even by a god.

Good to see you guys back! Dai request—how physically affectionate are the romances?
Cassandra- Not at first. In a way that seems counter to everything Cassandra ‘I Broke a Suitor’s Arm’ Pentaghast is, at first she prefers the courtly affections and slow build of a proper romance.
Later she is deeply fond of curling up with her love in front of the fire, but is a slow journey.
Solas: He wants it desperately, to be held and comforted by his Vhenan. And so he denies them both whenever possible.
Blackwall: He vacillates between feeling unworthy to touch her and needing to have her in his arms at all times. Compromise is a constant journey, but when the truth is out he leans toward the later.
Sera: What’s the point of having a honey tongue if you can’t smoosh her?
Dorian: like Cassandra it builds slowly, though more from fear than some romantic desire for courting. He aches for every touch denied though.
Iron Bull: Yes.
Cullen: The level of desire he has for her touch, not just sexual the quiet brush of fingers through hair in a morning kiss or the warm comfort of a tight embrace after a nightmare, frightens him.
He still wants it.
Josephine: Daily life in Antiva is so affectionate that her expectations are skewed.

In Dragon Age Inquisition do you like the winter palace uniforms? Do you like everyone matching? What do you think the inquisitor and companions should wear? Please feel free to draw or add pictures of the outfits if you want.
*Asks are sent for fun, no pressure to answer within a certain amount of time or at all.
I hate the uniforms! Every companion should have been styled differently, and buckle up because under the break are my OPINIONS. All images came from Pinterest, I am trying my best not to use art.
Cassandra: There is no statement quite like a warrior in full armor, and Cassandra Allegra Portia Calogera Filomena Pentaghast was born to make that statement. Add a cape with the Inquisitions heraldry and you will leave no one in doubt that the divines right hand is still strong.
Tumblr media
Varric: Kirkwall’s most famous author has a brand— don’t taint it! Dark leathers and earthy tones speak of the adventures of Lowtown with the champion, off set by metallic accessories to remind all that the Merchants Guild’s deshyr is more than he seems.
Tumblr media
Blackwall: If he is still known as a warden then you bring him in the full brilliance of his rank, in the blue and silverite of Thedas’s last and truest heroes.
If his secret is out best not to bring him to Orlais.
Solas: The Inquisition’s resident rift mage should not be relegated to a terrible hat and no introduction. Let the egg shine for once in the sort of graceful robes that put all the elegance of that long frame to use. We never see Solas fancied up, and for once we deserve too— while maintaining the more neutral tones he seems to prefer.
Tumblr media
Vivienne: Let the woman shine. Morrigsn is almost swallowed up in her velvet monstrosity, heavy handed ina dramatic sweep of stuffy brocade. But Madame de Fer has come for war, and her dress is equal elegance and armor.
Tumblr media
Sera: With the right mix of humor and haute, even Skyhold’s Red Jenny can turn heads in Orlais. If nothing else she will be a distraction.
Tumblr media
Dorian: You know he wept over the terrible military coat. Dress the Tevinter mage in the shadows and secrets of his homeland!
Tumblr media
The Iron Bull: Dress him down. Go the full rope work, the full paint . Play up the quantity element, the edge of fear, the strength of muscle and mind. Drive Orlais wild, and he will learn any number of things.
Cole: Gove him a fun hat and cape. No one will remember him anyway, might as well dress him up a bit.

jsksjdj 😳 called out. oops
I'm fine I promise! I just like complex situations and reactions, and I REALLY like the way you write them. Like, finding bits of good in a horrible situation makes them all the better, and the difference in characters is fascinating. One little detail (okay big detail) can change everyone's perspectives. And not to mention the Inky's backstory is so vague that I feel the need to cram more stuff into it no matter who I'm playing as...

Hello, this one's a bit of a sticky one and purely self indulgence, but how about we get Varric realizing he's slowly falling for a Lady Cadash Inquisitor?
I say dwarf specifically bc as we all know, he's only into Dwarven women, as he states in da2. Also, it does kinda feel like, in my opinion, his relationship to Bianca is slowly deteriorating after all this time
And sorry for so many words but even if you don't write my request this idea lives rent free in my head. Just wish bioware let us romance the hairy dwarf 😔
Varric’s problem is that he wants to believe in heroes.
Not their existence, or their usefulness— the recent unpleasantness with blood magic and Tevinter aside Fereldone’s Grey Wardens alone had proven that such men and women existed. People blessed or cursed with the kind of destiny that could never let them walk away from the big things. People bound by their own sort of honor, honed by tragedy and personal loss into the kid of legend that could look death in the face and decide ‘not one more’.
It was the kind of fanciful nonsense more suited to the dreamers still in Orzammar who looked for paragons in every skilled apprentice, but the youngest Tehtras had always been a romantic. It had attracted him to Hawke, to his best friend who had risen from humble beginnings to become the savior Kirkwall needed, and the kind of leader that could make a deshyr from the Merchant Guild want to immortalize them in one and ink because everyone deserves to hear their story.
Those kind of people shine with a light that made the world better, more vibrant, and it attracted Varric like a moth to open flame. It was the kind of light he’d thought Bianca had out off, a visionary and a genius who was set to prove that surface dwarves were no less worthy of legend than those left down below.
But in the sickly glow of red lyricism, with excuse and lie between them, that light had proven nothing more than a smoldering torch. Something he had followed into a dead end, where the shadows nipped at his heels and there was suddenly no beacon forward.
Except, of course, for the blazing dawn that was their Inquisitor.
Skyhold’s resident author had almost despaired when the diminutive form of the Herald of Andraste had first crested the hill, but in the months since she had taken up the call Inquisitor Cadash had proven herself to be everything everyone thought she was not. Cleverand wise, funny and kind, the sort who turned no one away who wanted truly to better their world. It was proof that the Carta truly was a bastion for the desperate, for she was the sort who would not have joined if there had been another way to survive.
She is a leader, an icon, a legend in the making. A Hero, by any guideline. And Varric would follow her into hell for a chance to see her smile at him.
The first time he’d realized it the rogue had almost panicked himself into an early grave, and the hangover the next morning would have put any of Batrand’s infamous benders to shame. But in the cold light of dawn truth had a way of shining through, and Varric lies to everyone but himself.
He loves their inquisitor. Deeply, truly, the kind that he had offered to Bianca for years and had watched her spurn again and again. But his star crossed smith was not kind, not gentle in her manipulation of either men or metal. And somehow Varric knows that if he offered his heart, meager sampling though it is, Cadash would not stop out his affection, even if she returned it unaffected.it would be unblemished.
And so he does not, not yet, but every time their leader walks past with too many shadows on a face carved from beauty itself, Varric finds a word to make her laugh. When she walks at her side, no enemy finds a path to her. And when she calls him, upright and righteous and unafraid, to whatever challange lies between them and glory, he does not hesitate to walk at her side.
Varric Tethras is many things, and not all of them good, but he believes in heroes, in the making of people into what they were meant to be.
And he was meant to be hers.

I feel like Da:I was almost aiming for the authority/danger walk from Assassins Creed but just left me wondering if my Inquisitor suffered a cerebrospinal injury in the conclave and just tried to shrug it off.
All I want in da:d is for the protagonist to not walk stupid.

I had a lot of luck when I…started playing something else, tbh, that game ended up with me lodging a controller in my wall and learning how to repair drywall.
I think Fallout 4 maybe be the worst I have ever been at a video game

What do you think each origins’ nightmare should have been in the Mage Tower? Because I always thought it was a missed opportunity to have it be the same warden dream instead of using the trauma of their origin.
Also what do you think the DAO companions would have reacted to breaking out first and having to break the Warden out of their nightmare?
Here you go!

Soooo I’ve been play DA for the first time and am finally on DAI. Now I love-hate Vivienne cause she’s a hypocrite, but I noticed something. She met her love about 21 years ago in game, and we never see any nobles related to us but we’re connected to the Chantry. How do you think the circle would react (including the Inquisitor?) to finding out the Inquisitor was adopted and was secretly Viviennes child?? Especially if they’re nothing like her think like the movie Matilda how she was different
Canonically your human inquisitor comes from the Trevelyan family, who are nobility in the Free Marches. There are several war table missions relating to the Trevelyans, and the assumption is that unfortunately a large part of your family died at the Conclave.

I'm tired of being left on the battlements in cutscenes. Can we get reactions to inky having a reaction to heights? 😤🫠
Good reaction? Bad reaction? Which one would heighten your enjoyment?
(See what I did there? Still got it.)
