another thing about imperials that fucks me up is the whole unpredictable lifespan thing. what do you mean some imperials randomly die after a couple of decades but others can live for centuries. hello. imagine being like a 700 year old imperial. the love of your life died when you were 527. your 2 hatchmates died at 34 and 448 respectively. one of your children died at 191. you keep getting news of your distant relatives dying at varying ages. 56. 382. 809. 22. not to mention the fact that entire generations of your non-imperial friends and loved ones have passed. and your life isn't even particularly tragic this is just the normal imperial experience and you have no other choice but to 'fuck it we ball' your way through it all??? can these big freaky lizards catch a fucking break for once????
