still can’t believe usagi recognising sailor uranus as haruka purely by scent was an actual canon plot point in the anime…… truly one of her most insanely bisexual moments which is saying something given we’re talking about the bisexual-magical-girl-in-chief

"If tampons should be free, then so should my diabetes meds."
Yes? Yes they should be? Your life-saving medication that you need in order to live for a condition you were born with should be given to you at no cost?

I love when a meme gets so many steps away from its source material that it would be completely incomprehensible if I didn't know what today's date was

And it was done intentionally by Lupin, too. Oh yes Neville’s a shy boy and they just talked to Snape in said staff room. It was intentional.
Also Snape would just be Neville’s fear of not being wizard enough - after all his family’s concern, his uncle dropping him out the window, his parents…and he can’t even do potions? And ofc Snape doesn’t want him exploding his classmates, and he’s not going to hold back and coddle Neville like other teachers - thereby exacerbating the fear. His fear is holding him back because he’s so afraid of not being enough, when he needs to be himself.
Just like Hermione’s boggart was McGonagall! Telling her she failed. Just like being expelled would be worse than death. Going back to being a muggle, where something was different or other about her.
Sorry for rambling on your post OP. I have opinions.
If you can't understand that the only reason Neville was afraid of Snape was a narrative strategy just so Snape could appear dressed in Neville's grandmother's clothes in a comical way, then I can't do anything for you.

it disturbs me that a significant number of people think that the issue with sexual violence, gendered violence, and misogyny is sexual desire rather than dehumanization, so they are relentlessly suspicious of others' (and their own) desires while simultaneously never at all interrogating others' (and their own) dehumanizing beliefs about other people, both within and outside of sexual contexts

Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you:
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I:
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.

I love how here on tumblr dot website we regularly cast the greatest curse we can muster on each other by pointing our long creepy fingers and intoning "10,000 notes" in a voice that carries the winds of the mountain with it.
