Drop notice:
As much as I don’t want to admit it, I’ll be dropping both Minerva and Lena. In my best judgment, I thought it’d be best to drop them both as I feel like I’m not roleplaying them to their fullest potential. Though, that isn’t the full truth. I’m mostly dropping these characters because I have little to no interesting in FE anymore, and with these ties, I feel like I’m forcing myself to do something that I truly wished I enjoyed but no longer do.
I originally took the hiatus to catch up on activity, but also allow me to contemplate whether or not if it’s best if I keep doing this or not and well. I chose the latter. Don’t get me wrong! I absolutely loved reading everyone’s threads and roleplaying with Michalis and Maria especially, but I don’t have it in me anymore.
Honestly, I just wanna say a special thanks to @macedonking on suggest me to apply for FERP, and pushing me on sending the application. Had it not been for her, I wouldn’t have gotten the opportunity to read threads and enjoy the fun that I never thought I would get the chance to.
All in all, thank you for having me even though I wasn’t the best at reaching out, but seeing you all interact was fun all the same. Perhaps one day I’ll pick up Lena and Minerva, but for now... Thank you for a fun first time roleplaying experience.ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Feel free to follow my personal blog which is @jollykalamari or my twitter which is @/Frailnaught. It’s the place where I’m most active. Once again, thank you for everything!

ā€œA memory that leaves me feeling loved and laughing, hm...?ā€ Minerva ponders to herself. Rarely does she truly burst out laughing, it’s quite the rare occurrence. Though, as for the emotion of feeling loved? She certainly has many memories that she quite enjoys.
From her pouch Minerva takes out an Angel Ring, even though it looks a bit worn from wear, it appears to be quite intact and beaming with quality.
ā€œEst gave me this Angel Ring despite it being her only copy, the way she tries to bring me happiness... Asking me if I fancied anyone from the army... Even now, I cannot help but chuckle by the thought of it. It brings a smile to my face remembering how she tried her best to make me happy.ā€ Minerva rubs the gem encrypted on the ring, ā€œMemories like these remind me that I am loved, and it motivates me to go on.ā€

āš”ļømacedonking:
ā€œYou misunderstand me, Minerva. She has already wept upon my shoulder a thousand times over,ā€ Michalis admits with a wistful smile, ā€œand yetā€¦ā€ He shakes his head sadly. ā€œI have already told you more than I have been willing to admit to her, despite me full well knowing she is now far more capable of understanding than I had initially thought.ā€
That he had learned the hard way, with their fateful encounter with the ghost of their father. Telling Minerva about that could wait for another time, another place, he promises himself silently. If there is one.
ā€œThe last time?ā€ While it was apparent that Michalis had no idea what to do with himself, he wasn’t intending on just… Vanishing… Or was he? He had heard tales of other lands, continents far and wide in which he could leave and make a name for himself. With no past sins or twisted past to drag him down.
But how could he ever atone, if he just left it all behind?
ā€œIf you fear me leaving the continent in earnest, you do not have to worry. While it would seem quite beneficial to just up and leave, I.. I can’t do that to you.ā€ Or Maria. ā€œNot after you both have practically begged me to return home with you on separate occasions.ā€ Michalis’s gaze drifts towards his feet.
ā€œEven if I did leave, I’m pretty sure the sheer memory of Maria crying over my battered corpse alone would be enough to bring me back.ā€ What Michalis leaves unsaid is just how much it haunts his every waking moment, but his expression at the moment would very likely give it away if Minerva was looking. ā€œOther than return with you, what would you suggest that I do with my time instead? I am not nearly strong enough to return at the moment, but perhaps, in timeā€¦ā€ More time with you, anyways…
ā€œSuggest what you should do? I believe that is something even I cannot answer.ā€ Minerva slightly mutters under her breath, ā€œMaria might know the answer to that, I suppose...ā€
"Though, in another time, let us spend some time together... Like a family." Minerva folds her arms and lets out a bitter sigh, "All this arguing almost makes me forget you are my older brother." Minerva lowers her eyes. It feels like they've been arguing for almost centuries, not a single chance to breathe fresh air.
But... Perhaps, another day... Ā
"I've kept you long enough, I'm sure you have your own duties to attend to..." Minerva began to turn and walk off but before she left, Ā
"Even so, I'm proud of you. I am delighted to hear that you finally decided to make amends... Perhaps one day, we'll see each other again, but until then... Goodbye, Michalis..." Ā
Minerva then began to walk off into the rowdy markets of Macedon, she didn't dare to glance back. Leaving him was one thing, but seeing his reaction? That is something else that Minerva wishes to tackle, at least, for another day.
ā€˜ no, no. no no no no no… this is bad… this is very bad. ā€˜
Hearing a familiar voice, Minerva turns towards the sound. To her surprise, it was her brother, Michalis. The feelings of shock and sorrow flow through her body, like waves crashing against the shore. Was it really him? Was it really the brother that she once loved?
ā€œMichalis..? Could it really be..?ā€ She asks hesitantly, simply too lost for words.
She was hesitant to say anymore, it was quite shocking to see her brother and speaking to her as if it was some sort of mistake no less. From the tone of his voice, she can understand that he does not want to approach her lest speaking to her. She closes her eyes and warily awaits his response.

šŸ° - Dessert šŸ‡ - Outdoor Activity
ā€œMy favorite dessert would perhaps be a lemon tart. I enjoy it especially with tea, but as for outdoor activity...ā€ Minerva contemplates, there are many outdoor activities that Minerva definitely enjoys. Tending to her mounts, playing games with the kids outside of the orphanage, there were many. She doubts could choose one.
ā€œI suppose tending to the garden with Lena would be my favorite outdoor activity. It allows us to have our own chance to talk together, with everything going on in the orphanage. Rarely do we have a chance to spend time together.ā€

Shield,
Bandits. They were attacking Macedon's boarder once again. She thought she could handle them herself, but a miscalculation made matters much worse. Much worse.
"Michalis!"
Never in a million years had she thought she would have shouted her brother's name.
Never had she thought she'd scream her brother's name in absolute anguish.
She watched as a sword pierce his chest, her eyes widening realizing his actions. He wasn't supposed to be dead.
I was supposed to be killed.
A bandit originally planned to ambush her and yet... He took the blow. He wasn't supposed to be here. Why was he here? With the quick slash of her lance, she defeated the bandit, almost falling to her knees with only her lance supporting her. As much as she did not want to, she looked back at what was left of her brother...
Michalis...!
"You fool... You complete fool!" Ā Minerva shoved the spear to the side. Using what was left of her strength, she limped towards her brother's corpse. Ā
She knelt down next to her brother, carefully, she lifted her brother's hand. Pressing on the palm, she could feel the warmth slowly drain away like a sunset dissolving as the cold winter night settled in. Nothingness. There was nothing left of her brother. Only but a corpse and a blade covered with his crimson blood.
"Why...? Why...!" Ā
She could not hold in her heart break, her eyes weeping with nothing but pain and becoming a disheveled mess. Dropping her brother's hand only to bend forward and cry upon his corpse.
This was a mistake. I wasn't good enough. I should have done more. I failed Maria...
Thoughts of self-doubt only clouded her mind; how could she face her dear sister and tell her the news of their brother? Even at the current moment, she couldn't even handle it herself.
There was no war. There was no fight between them. All she wished to do was to protect her family and become her brother's sibling again.
But she couldn't even accomplish the first step.

The True Meaning of Pain
0-cherry-berry-0
Sakura was sure she would make it to the store and straight back to the apartment with ease. However, a good hearted soul stopped and had to ask if she was alright. Why gods, why? Her first reaction was to cover her shirt, cheeks turning almost as pink as her hair. It wasn’t like Sakura to ignore someone either, so she had to answer or her mentally would over take her with guilt.
After opening and closing her mouth a good three times with no words coming out, Sakura finally gave the woman a nod. ā€œ Ā I-I’ll be fine. Just allergies.ā€ Yes, the deadliest of all snot nosed sicknesses. Sakura then pointed down the sidewalk, to where, she herself was wondering why. ā€œ There’s a-a store and um, it’s not that far. I’m sorry.ā€
Then it dawned on her that the lady almost mistook her for someone else. Odd, but not uncommon. ā€œ No, you shouldn’t be sorry. I hope this person doesn’t suffer from dogwood allergies.ā€
The small opening and closing of the mouth from the young girl slightly troubled Minerva, she is having trouble breathing? Perhaps it was a mistake to trouble the young girl after all. Minerva placed those thoughts aside, she was here to help if the young girl wishes for it. Though as she was contemplating, she also noticed that the young girl covered her shirt. She's not embarrassed... Is she? Minerva looked towards the direction the young girl pointed, a store, huh?
"I don't believe she does, if she did it would be very unwise of me to leave her unattended." Even if it's not much, Minerva still wanted to help the young girl.
"Perhaps this is nonsense, but do you mind if I accompany you? Forgive me, I feel as if leaving you unaccompanied would not be a great choice." Minerva rubs the back of her head. "Haha... This must be quite inconvenient for you."

šŸ"What's your favorite season Minerva?"
ā€œHmm... My favorite season? I truly haven’t thought about that. I suppose autumn is quite nice. As the leaves turn and the cool air approaches, it fits the colors of the sunset quite nicely. Though...ā€ Minerva looks down in sorrow, she felt... Bitter.Ā
ā€œFall can be a bit... Distasteful for others. Bringing back memories that some wish to rather not remember...ā€ Minerva began to trail off.
ā€œAh, forgive me. You asked but a simple question. Autumn will do.ā€Ā

Minerva's mission was to buy more cleaning supplies for the house. Considering this is her day off, this was the perfect chance to do so. Luckily, since a convenience store was a few blocks away, the use of a car was not necessary. Though that WAS the original plan, but Minerva stopped to see a passerby shivering frantically and snorting rather loudly. Curious and the willingness to help overwhelming her, Minerva bothered the small passerby for a bit.
"Excuse me, miss? Are you-" Ā
Minerva abruptly stopped mid-sentence due to the small fact that the young girl almost resembled as Maria. Though the choice of outfits was certainly different between the two, there was still a bit of resemblance. But not to be completely rude, Minerva cleared her throat and continued her sentence.
"Ahem, err... Are you alright?" Despite it, Minerva was still rather concerned for the young girl. "Forgive me for my abrupt cut, I almost mistook you for someone that I know." Ā  Ā
The True Meaning of Pain.
It felt as if she was about to die. Tears littered Sakura’s face as the need to cover her eyes exceeded all other thoughts. Fresh tears ran down her cheeks as she almost sobbed against the the palms that did nothing to stop the pain. It was as if two blazing hot pokers were shoved right behind her eyes, digging to keep the burning fire alive. Sakura wasn’t strong. Or at least she told herself this. Yet this terror could bring down a grown man in his prime of life.
Yes, losing a sneeze was the equivalent of death itself.
As the pollen filled the air, the youngest of four knew the watery noses and itchy eyes were not far behind. Yet she did not pick up the over the counter medicine. She even wrote it on her arm in blie ink to remind herself. Maybe wearing that cute turtle neck was a mistake. A grave mistake. This was the third sneeze today that refused to leave. Sakura flopped down on the deak chair and grabbed a wad of tissues. May they soon rest in peace.
Tossing them into the trash bin, Sakura made herself get dressed. Which was not her best work considering she was planning on leaving the house in pajama pants and a Slayer shirt. How that got into her things is a mystery too. Who in their respective mind would listen to Slayer when Pantera was better? Ugh. Now wasn’t the time to think of music. Today’s mission was to get allergy medicine from the pharmacy so this unspeakable pain may stop in its tracks once and for all. Finishing up with a pair of flops, she was ready to venture out into public.
Opening the door seemed to make it worse. The tears in her eyes were dry, but they continued out of her nose. It made Sakura shiver, snorting loudly to suck up any stragglers dripping. Not her best moment. Really. Just four blocks up the street and it’s Montelukast heaven.

šŸ’Žprincessmacedon:
Guilt crawls through Maria’s gut as her sister stares at her, the weight of the sorrow she must have caused lying heavy upon her shoulders. The feeling is a little funny when she thinks about how this must have been how Michalis felt (though she is sure his burden rested a thousand times greater).
But then Minerva hugs her, and Maria’s eyes grow wetter. She sheds no tears, but her eyes shine, and she hugs her kind big sister back. It ends too quickly for her liking, but Maria is not so selfish as to hold on, and she relinquishes her grasp on her sister a little too easily. Her arms fold over the parcel still in her grasp for a moment, until, after a beat, she holds it out to her sister instead.
ā€œā€¦I brought you something,ā€ she replies, answering Minerva’s question with no answer at all. ā€œI found it in the market and I thought of you.ā€
She falls silent for a moment, almost afraid to say something more– but then her eyes light up, and the little princess looks up again, beaming.
ā€œYou know who I found right after that? Michalis! It was like… for a momentā€¦ā€ She pauses and wrings her hands in the silence, her gaze flickering back down to the ground. ā€œā€¦Like we were all together again. Even though I couldn’t bring him homeā€¦ā€
Her head snaps up soon after she says that, a bigger, weaker smile spread across her face. ā€œI also wrote you some letters, so you’d know what was happening.ā€
WhileĀ kneeling, Minerva grabs the parcel that her younger sister held out towards her. Minerva scrutinized the parcel, a bit lightweight and examining her sister's current equipment. Makes sense as she cannot carry anything especially heavy. Seeing the shine in Maria's eyes... Minerva grips the parcel tightly.
"Thank you, Maria. I hope it did not cost you a bit of your coin."
Though, Maria's somber mood quickly turned for the better. She radiated as if she produced her own guiding light. Like a bright star shining amidst the darkness – but it was cut short with the mention of their eldest brother, Michalis.Ā
"Michalis...?" Minerva mumbled to herself. Maria's sudden change of spirit unsettled Minerva, but with the topic of their brother, unfortunately, it is rather understandable. The smile that Maria held was not a convincing one, but it is a smile nonetheless. Ā
"Letters? Certainly, there is not much that I had missed during your journey." Minerva paused for a moment. Time hasn't passed by so quickly has it...? But... If it has... I would like to keep her company a bit more. Ā
"If I may be a bit greedy, let's read them together. Shall we, Maria? If you’d like, we may speak about Michalis." A small offer, but an offer that Minerva hopes that she agrees to.
"One more thing."
Minerva caressed Maria's cheek with care. "You need not force yourself to keep your tears under wraps, Maria. There is no shame in crying, it aids the soul-" Minerva, with gentle care, places her hand over Maria's chest, "-and the heart."

āš”ļømacedonking:
ā€œMake no mistake, Minerva - I did not leave because I am too scared to face my regrets over my actions.ā€ Truth be told, he hadn’t admitted this to anyone - not that he had ever given himself the chance, though. Michalis clears his throat in a rare moment of weakness.
ā€œI left because I was scared that I would be given the temptation to do something horrible again. It is not because I am scared of facing all of my past actions that I run from you and Maria, oh no. But it is because I am scared of myself that I wish to have no more contact with either of you. Both of you deserved more than me becoming a murderer and a power hungry tyrant.ā€
The minute the final word leaves his lips, Michalis slouches a little, as if any angry energy previously held within had just… vanished. ā€œYou have every right to call me all the foul things in the world for refusing, but even if you are ready to begin anew, I do not think I am.ā€ Even as Michalis gazes towards her outstretched hand, Michalis shakes his head.
ā€œYou live with Lena, among many other Macedonians - what are they going to think if I just waltz back into their lives, after having ruined so much? I sincerely doubt that Lena would so soon forget, even though I let her go free without malice, the fact that I had once pursued her romantically. And I’m damn sure Julian would rather slit my throat than ever have to see me again.ā€
ā€œI love you, Minerva - I always have, and despite our past differences, that can never change. You did what you thought was right, and no matter how much I try to rationalize it in my head, I have nobody to blame but myself for what happened.ā€
Minerva listened intently to her brother's words. She thought she knew what was troubling her brother, but clearly. She did not. He had good intentions, but even so... Ā
Minerva allows her outstretched arm to fall. Slow breathing... The pace of everything felt as if it was going in slow motion. She glares at her brother, Michalis, but this time rather. With soft eyes. Ā
"I see no reason to name you anything foul, Brother. I did not know you've been going through all this trouble, all this... Fear..." Minerva pauses for a slight moment. To find the right words, but with her brother, it is rather difficult.
"You may refuse my offer, but let it be known. In order to get over your fear, you must conquer it. You simply cannot avoid this." She sighed. "Perhaps Lena and Julian will not be the most willing, but Maria... She'd cry the instant she saw you and force you to come home." Minerva laughs with utmost bitterness.
"I love you as well, Brother, but I will always worry for you. You may call it pointless, though I cannot help it." Minerva slowly approaches her brother and stares into his eyes. Seeing each other eye to eye, and quickly before he had the chance to move a single muscle – she clasps him into a hug.
"Forgive me but... I'm glad to have seen you again, Michalis... Even if it shall be the last time we do."
ā€˜ no, no. no no no no no… this is bad… this is very bad. ā€˜
Hearing a familiar voice, Minerva turns towards the sound. To her surprise, it was her brother, Michalis. The feelings of shock and sorrow flow through her body, like waves crashing against the shore. Was it really him? Was it really the brother that she once loved?

Shield!!
Minerva’s protector pushed Minerva out of harm's way. Though, it was not exactly something to be so concerned over. A small stick had fallen from the tree they were sitting under and it struck the top of Minerva’s protector. A faint thunk can be heard as the stick struck their head.
Minerva chuckles.Ā ā€œThat was quite unnecessary for you to yell shield for a matter so trivial, but you aren’t hurt, are you?ā€ Gently, Minerva pats her savior’s head.Ā

This time it'll be me who { shields } you--!!
There was a sharp scream behind Minerva that had traveled through her ears like lightning. ā€œMaria…! Why you! She was just a child!!ā€ In one fell swoop with Hauteclere, Minerva had ended the life of Maria’s attacker, but she was not able to catch her in time. The small frail body that was once her younger sister had fallen. Warm blood, her shattered staff. It was all too much to take in.
She had to take it in.
ā€œMaria! Maria, please… Stay with me.ā€ Quickly, Minerva held the upper torso of her younger sister in her arms. She brushed Maria’s hair towards the side, as she tries to get her sister to look at her. Even if there was a small glimpse of life left in her, she could still save her. She had to save her.Not even a single breathe of life was left.
Empty. Soulless.
Her sister was gone.
Minerva silently laughs to herself, ā€œNot like the fairytales you used to read, right, Maria?ā€
Tears began to swell. She made it her duty to protect her sister, and yet…
She lost what was left of her entire world.
