I just remembered that Jon loves Damian unconditionally aND AHHHHHHHH

I mean, yeah XD the comics spell it all out.

Jon imitating Damian isn’t just cute, it’s him subtly expressing how he admires the older and more experienced kid hero.

Jon taking to heart Damian’s lessons just gives us a small peek at how much he respects and looks up to Damian.

The first thing he looks forward to on the weekends? Hanging out with Damian.

And he’s so excited to hang out with Damian all day, too.

They tease each other and call each other nicknames like they’ve been friends for years.

And then moments like this where they are just so adorable together and Jon knows what Damian needs.

And you know Jon will hug Damian if he knows he can get away with it :p

But it’s really this moment here where he defends his friendship with Damian to his dad that you see how much Jon cares about his friend. Sure, Damian sucks at being sociable and likable, and sometimes he can seem mean, but through it all Jon still cherishes the bond they have with each other, whatever happens. (You hear that DC? Dont you dare break them apart!!)
