HECTOR KNEW ALL ALONG; he was in deep shit.

drenched in sweat, his forearms pressed against his thighs—he’s waiting for you to finally acquaint him, but you’re too busy speaking with your brother to realise that it’s been more than twenty minutes that he was eyeing you from head to toe.

i mean, that’s what the footballer thought—but from your perspective, things were a little different.

since you have made an appearance at camp nou, dressed in your brother’s jersey and some baggy sweats that you stole from his closet—your hair being styled in a slick back bun, you had felt the daring glare of hector on you.

ignoring it like you always did in front of your brother, you did nothing but drive the boy mad.

how could you ignore him like he wasn’t all up on you the night before ?

« you’re good hermano ? pau asks his friend while drinking his water, brows furrowed. »

pau may have been friends with hector since childhood, he is still trying to figure out how to read the boy’s attitude. hector is a nonchalant guy, he seems to take everything with lightness.

but today, he’s acting weird—throwing multiples glances multiple times in the direction of who-knows-what.

« sí, porque ? pau only shrugs his shoulders, and the boy in front of him takes this as a sign to resume his activities—glaring at you until you finally notice him. »

watching his friend’s jaw clenched, pau can’t help but follow his gaze.

« alejandro’s hermana ? he speaks up again, a smirk making its way on his face. really hector ? »

« i don’t know what you’re talking about, cabrón, he mutters under his breath. »

oh gosh, that was an unexpected news.

« be careful, you know how alejandro reacts when it’s about his little sister, the brunette boy says, his hand pressed against the player’s shoulder. »

hector rolls his eyes. like he didn’t already know. if only alejandro’s dumb ass wasn’t so overprotective, hector would be the first to greet you—to be attached to your hip—but unfortunately alejandro’s overprotectiveness is still there.

sighing, he finally gets on his feet and tries to resume training—even if your pretty face is still in his head.

the day had slowly passed ; full of training exercices and stolen glances that hector didn’t seem to control.

the urge to run to you, and embrace your whole being in his arms, was getting more intense during the day—which is why the spanish boy is the first to walk out the training camp and to make his way to his mother’s car.

hands deep in his pockets, head down, the boy’s only wish is to keep you out of his sight—because he might just not care anymore about your brother’s opinion and drown you under tons of affection.

« hector ! the voice makes him stop in his tracks. you walk way too fast for me, cabrón, you say while facing him. »

despite the frustration accumulated throughout the day, hector can’t help but smile with all his teeth.

« you’re good ? » you ask, not really knowing how to engage the conversation with him when your whole day was about ignoring him.

« oh, now you wanna talk ? » he smirks, and although he seems to hate the ignoring attitude, you’re happy that he is not wasting the little ‘talking time’ you two have before all the other players come out by being upset.

even though you understand the hell out of him ; you don’t have much choice, and he knows it.

« sorry, you know i— » your words dies in your throat when you (finally) feel his hands on your hips—them grabbing and bringing you closer to his chest.

« can we do the excuses later ? i need you right now, he mutters while putting his head and mushing his nose against your neck. »

smelling your sweet perfume, feeling your body warmth against his and the familiarity of your presence around— enveloping—him change his vision of the day.

you finally relax, sensing the home that you had always dreamed, in him.

all you need is each other, and even your brother’s overprotectiveness have to accept it. and it will.

WALKING TO THE FRONT PORCH OF THE HOUSE, [your name] holds firmly the basket between her fingers while knocking on the door in front of her.

stress start to slowly takes place in her system while she’s waiting for the front door to be opened. it’s not her first time at marc’s house—and definitely not the first she sees his family, but still, she can’t help but be a little anxious.

arranging her outfit, she smiles brightly once the door is finally open—letting the welcoming smile of mrs. guiu make an appearance.

« mi hijita ! come, come ! the woman invites the girl inside, happy to finally see her lovely daughter-in-law again after quite some time. i was waiting for you, i’m happy you could make it, she say, kissing lovingly the two cheeks of his son’s girlfriend. »

« i’m happy to see you too ! i brought you this, the girl hands her the basket full of bouquet of flowers and a box of pastries. »

« oh no ! you didn’t have to ! the woman happily takes the basket out of [your name]’s hands, encouraging the girl to join the rest of the family who is on the balcony. go querida, the boy is waiting for you, she winks, pinching the girl’s cheek. »

with lightly blushed cheeks, the girl decides is the right time for greeting everyone—kissing multiple cheeks, hugging a whole bunch of people and chatting with them.

still blocked in marc’s grandma embrace, the girl can’t do anything except leaning against the sweet woman and listen to the conversation that surrounds her.

almost forgetting about her boyfriend, [your name] see herself chatting with maria—marc’s sister—who seems to have plenty of gossips to share with her sister in law.

« [your name] ! marc shouts, running a hand through his messy hair, lightly sweating due to the previous football matches he had with all his cousins. you came, he smiles with all his beautiful teeth, stealing his girlfriend from his grandma’s hold. »

ignoring the obvious glances that his family is actually giving to them, marc immediately envelopes his girl in a loving embrace—putting his chin on the shorter girl’s head, his arms wrapped tightly around her waist; his fingers playing with the silk material of her sundress.

he missed his girl all day, not having enough time in it to stop by her house.

taking advantage of her presence in his arms, he scans with appreciation his girlfriend—from her slick back bun to her white hermes sandals. the couple is accidentally matching, the white of their outfits and the shiny finish of their jewellery blending perfectly together.

not wanting to let her go, the boy doesn’t seems to give up his hold on her; even when all of his cousins are joining the balcony and excited to talk with marc’s beautiful girl.

« marc, baby, don’t you feel like seating a little bit ? my legs are sore, [your name] doesn’t have to repeat herself, the next second she’s leaning comfortably against her boyfriend’s chest, his arm wrapped around her shoulders. missed you. »

NINE O’CLOCK JUST RANG, but you don’t seem to care—deep asleep.

only the sound of air conditioning and your regular breathing are heard in the room, and the fact that you’re not running around the house in a hurry means that today is your day off.

usually, cole—knowing your schedule—always takes care of joining you the day before your day off, taking advantage of the concordance that the latter has with his.

but that was before his coach decided, not too long ago, to remplace their day off with training.

so, sadly, the chelsea player isn’t by your side.

still deep asleep, you shift randomly—stealing cole’s part of your bed and pressing your face in his pillow, humming his sent like the lover girl that you are.

and as your dreams start to get interesting, the horrible ringing from your phone suddenly stops them.

« where do you want me to be cole ? you respond, searching for a new comfortable position in your bed, your phone firmly trapped between your fingers. why ain’t you at training ? you mumble once you realise that your boyfriend isn’t actually suffering through practice. »

« coach cancelled ! he smiles brightly, extending his arm whose holding the phone and dancing like the dumb—sleep depriver—boy he is. so, grumpy, don’t panic if you hear your front door open, you don’t question him more and, after letting him kiss the phone as a way of saying goodbye, you hear him hang up. »

slowly diving back to your sleep, cole seems to arrive just in time before you finally succumb.

locking the front door; getting rid of his shoes and training bag, he finally makes his way to your room—more than ready to cling onto your warmth and dive into a deep sleep.

entering it, he can’t help but smile at the picture that’s in front of him; you, in his sweats and shirt, comfortably hogging his side of the bed, eyelids firmly closed.

he mutters no words, changing himself into a more adequate outfit for sleep—basket shorts—and quietly making his way to the bed.

« it’s me, he whispers while wrapping his arms around your sleepy form. »

humming, you finally gather the energy to turn in his direction; eyes still closed. smiling, the boy automatically grabs your hips, pulling you closer to him, and puts his head on your chest—his nose pressed against your collarbones.

« mmh, cole i’m hot, you mumble, still not making more efforts to get him off of you. »

« i know you are, gorgeous. that’s why i’m with you since- »

« stop playing with me cole, he laughs, nuzzling his face more in your boobs. why you’re so clingy ? suddenly you love me, what the fuck. »

THE GROUP OF TEENAGERS have been running through the stadium for the fourth time since the beginning of the training. sweating like never before, their heavy sighs resound to the stands, where a handful of their loved ones are.

it’s been a while since their practice had started, and it didn’t seem like it was about to end—xavi asking the boys to take places and do some new exercices.

[your name] and elena—hector’s girlfriend—are chatting while observing their boyfriends suffer. the two girls, supportive as always, are seating on this bench since the very beginning of the training, and don’t seem decided to be quitting it soon too.

so, instead of pulling their phones out, the girls prefer chatting the ears off of each other until the end of practice—fact that they don’t seem to hate.

« hector, marc, your chicas are still here ? ask one of their teammates, visibly impressed. »

smiling through the pain of exercice, marc steal a glance to his girlfriend—seating in the very front row of the stands with his bestfriend’s girl, looking beautiful like always.

lightly biting his lip, he cannot help but check out his own girlfriend, scanning her from head to toe—appreciating the tight black legging and shirt on her body, the pink and purple new balance he has gifted her last year on her feet.

damn, nena is looking good, he thinks, smiling like the idiot he is.

while making their way to the resting room were their girls usually wait for them, the two boys chat about their sore muscles—groaning about the pain in their highs.

due to her not waking up, marc couldn’t help but choose to carry her to the car—her legs tightly wrapped around his slim waist and his sore arms enveloping her in a warm bear hug.

IT WAS CALM, the rays of the sun came out of the curtains and crushed on their skins.

the weather was perfect; the clouds were high in the sky and the sun was shining brightly.

the couple was still fast asleep, tangled between each other.

marc’s back was covered by [your name]’s leg, while his hand was attached to her lower back—fingers holding firmly the flesh of her ass; an habit of his.

the girl’s face was smushed against the boy’s neck, her warm breathing rubbing against his tanned skin.

her hair was a complete mess; curls laying on one of the pillows and blinding her boyfriend’s eyes—the consequences of her being lazy and not tying her hair up before sleeping.

however, marc didn’t mind one bit, loving the smell of her favourite shampoo and styling cream.

the room was still very silent; only the breathing sounds and light snores of the two young people being audible, them just appreciating each other’s warmth and presence.

but suddenly, sleep seemed to slowly quit the couple’s bodies, making the two of them slowly opening their eyes—marc being the first.

he only received a grunt from the girl, making him chuckle lowly.

between sleepy eyelids, marc stoled a quick glance to the girl laying next to him: appreciating her sleepy form—pouty lips that he wished he could kiss till the end of time; gorgeous face filled with sleep and her warm body pressed against his.

smiling lovingly, the boy couldn’t do anything but fall for her again (and again).

giving her more time to properly wake up, marc stretched himself—breaking his back several times in the process, his eyes still trying to adapt at the bright luminosity in the room.

once his view was clear enough, the spanish boy didn’t hesitate to get out of the bundle of warmth that the hotel bed was, and walked to the balcony—not before squeezing two or three times his nena’s ass and kissing her temple briefly.

entering the balcony, only in his calvin klein boxer and his naked back on full display, marc made his way to the very front of it; watching peacefully the greek sea.

his vacation to greece with the love of his life was all he needed. football was his very first passion, but that didn’t mean that breaks from it were bad.

again, he smiled—still watching the waves in front of him.
