Mama Lipsky's Man
An old ridiculous ship fic that since I'm editing and posting on other platforms. I will put on here as well.
FFN | Ao3
Drakken and Shego go to meet Mama Lipsky's new boyfriends. It does not go well.
Mama Lipsky's Man
"I don't like this Shego," glared Drakken, his arms crossed and jaw clenched, "I don't like this at all."
"So your Mom has a boyfriend she met on holiday, there not getting married," said Shego, Drakken went pale, "Forget I said that. She just wants you to meet him… that's all."
"No man, is good enough for my Mother," said Drakken. Shego rolled her eyes.
"Hey, calm down, don't have a heart attack over here," sighed Shego, she leaned towards him, "She probably wants you to check him out. Make sure he's good enough. If you don't like the guy, just tell her after. Not a big deal... and if it's not the case… we have enough things laying around the lair to make someone disappear… no question."
"I appreciate it when you say the right things," smiled Drakken, "Versus the times you distinctly tell me things to egg it on."
"This was not that moment," hummed Shego as she patted his shoulder.
"Alright, he'll be here any minute," grinned Estelle cheerfully, "Oh, I know your just going to love him. You know, I think you two might hit it off, he shares the same sense of humor you two are always using. So charming too."
"Well, Mother, my friend quota is filled," said Drakken, Shego elbowed him, "What, they are. There are three slots and its complete. You, Fist, and Duff."
"Monkey First is currently a lawn ornament," retorted Shego.
"He's a very consistent friend who makes a great decoration at parties, always willing to hold someone's hat a coat," defended Drakken.
"Also. Me?" asked Shego, she smirked, "I think were more than friends, Drakken."
"Yes, and that's why you're in the second spot," said Drakken, giving her a smile, his eyes glared as the door rang.
"Excuse me? Second slot?" Shego glared, "I know someone who isn't getting near any slot tonight."
"Great he's …. wait, what?" asked Drakken with wide eyes, Shego drank her beverage and glared at him.
"Drew, Sheila, this is my little Love Muffin," said Estelle, walking in with a large bouquet of roses as a man came walking behind her, "Duffy, this is my son and his partner."
"I, it's glad to… Drakken? Shego?" asked Duff Killigan as he froze in place.
"Killigan?" asked Drakken, his eyes twitched, Shego smirked and put her drink down.
"I think I just got the number one slot," she said smugly.
One awkward dinner, three sassy snarky arguments, and a slice of pie later they all sat in the living room. Drakken and Duff were glaring daggers at each other when Estelle wasn't looking. Shego watched the whole thing play out with mild amusement and shock at the astronomical odds. She was also astounded how a crack about 'Golfing is not a sport' and 'Love to see your degree' had turned the two normally annoying friends into this state.
"I'm going to get some coffee, Sheila, would you mind?" asked Estelle, Shego practically ran after her, the amusement was turning into chills now.
"God yes," muttered Shego under her breath.
"So, this is awkward," said Duff, Drakken glared, "What are the odd-"
"Break up with her now," demanded Drakken, his eye twitched.
"That- I will not," snapped Duff as he glared back, "Ye, don't try and boss me around. Estelle's a good women and I like her. You should be happy for us, not acting like a child."
"Like a child?" asked Drakken, he stomped his foot, "You're dating my mother."
"What, am I not good enough for your Ma?" asked Duff, crossing his arms.
"No. No one is good enough to date her," growled Drakken.
He couldn't believe he was having this argument with DUFF KILLIGAN!
"We're doing more than dating," smirked Killigan, Drakken looked ready to flip the coffee table just as his Mother and Shego came back in the room.
"Alright, coffee time boys," smiled Estelle, "Oh, Duff, Sweety, can you get the good cups, this is a very special occasion."
"Oh no," muttered Shego under her breath, she looked towards the kitchen, "I'm getting the creamer- the other one… yeah."
"Yes it is," said Duff as he walked over to pat Drakken's shoulder, Drakken seethed at his smug look and Duff leaned towards him to whisper, "I'm gonna be your Da."
"Well 'Da' is about to get his duff whooped," hissed Drakken, standing up and glaring at him.
"What? By those wee hands of yours?" laughed Duff.
"That's it!" yelled Drakken as he dove on Duff, taking out the coffee table in the process.
"Oh dear," said Estelle with a sigh, "This is going to make Holiday Dinner's very awkward, isn't it?"
"I'm telling you Mama Lipsky, you need to start charging admission to those dinners," stated Shego from her safe sport in the kitchen.
The two women were silent for a beat as the men fought before Mama Lipsky replied.
"How much do you think I can get?"

A fun little short all inspired by the wonderfully talented @flowery-laser-blasts
Detour
The cool breeze of the summer air was a welcome to Shego as they cruised passed the highways in the hovercar. The sun was slowly drifting downwards showing evening approaching. They weren't too far from their current lair, less than an hours drive and she would be able to enjoy a nice calm evening after a very long day. While the day hadn't exactly been horrible spending time with Drakken's family... she rolled her eyes as she remembered the new younger additions to said family gatherings.
So much screaming... so many sticky children... so much... screaming!
Shaking her head and the memories of being surrounded by children of Drakken's cousins and additional family that had gathered from Motor Ed's side... a rarity and Shego now knew why. Instead she focused on the relief she was no longer there. She looked at the seat behind them towards the desert she still had from dinner and wondered if she should enjoy before or after a nice soak in the hot tub. She glanced at Drakken as he sang along with the radio cheerfully and she shifted to lean slightly against him.
“I'm thinking hot tub when we get back?” hummed Shego, she saw a slight blush to Drakken's ears as she glanced up.
“I wouldn't be apposed too--” his answer was cut off by a small jolt in the hovercar and a slight whirling noise, “Ohm.”
“It sounds like somethings off,” said Shego as she sat up and leaned forward as if trying to find where the sound was coming from, “Is that the shifter?”
“It's nothing,” dismissed Drakken.
“The hovercar is shaking,” scoffed Shego as it almost vibrated.
The hovercar dropped hard and began staggering causing Shego to hit her knee on the dashboard and Drakken to angrily yank on the gears only for the shifting gear in question to come off in his hand. Shego glared at Drakken as she began loosing more and more air.
“It's fine--” Drakken tried to smile but yanked the steering to the side, “I'm going to pull over.”
Shego braced as they came to a hard landing off the side of the highway they'd been following.
“How's 'nothing' going for you,” said Shego as the hovercar came to a shaking and aggressive loud whirl before silence filled the air, “Because something tells me... not well.”
“I'm sure its an easy fix,” reassured Drakken as he picked up the shifter and waved it around, “Probably just a bolt. I'll just take a look and we will be hitting that hot-tub sooner than you can--”
“Just fix it,” sighed Shego as she rubbed her temples.
“On it,” said Drakken as he moved to look under the small curved hood.
Shego watched as smoke came out in a very smelly plume and rolled her eyes before deciding to enjoy her desert now in an attempt to not focus on the clouds of smoke drifting above them.
An hour later Shego lay in the backseat of the hovercar, the sun now kissing the horizon and Drakken yelping and mumbling under his breath as he tried to give the illusion he was fixing what Shego knew was unfixable. She let her book fall to the floor of the hovercar and groaned as she reached in the front seat to grab her phone.
“Shego, what are you doing?” asked Drakken hastily.
“It's been an hour, I let you play, I'm calling your mother,” sighed Shego.
“My mother?” Drakken's brow raised, “While my mother is a capable and curiously strong women... she isn't very mechanically inclined.”
“I'm starting to wonder the if the apple didn't fall far from that tree,” muttered Shego. Drakken glared, “I'm calling her to pick us up.”
“And leave the hovercraft?” asked Drakken in horror. Shego rolled her eyes.
“Fine, pick me up then,” hummed Shego as the phone was answered, “Hey Mama Lipsky, we kind of had a little flight trouble... yes Drew is “fixing” it.”
“I can hear the air quotes, Shego,” grumbled Drakken.
Shego gave him a grin and a little wave and watched him pout.
“Uh huh, yes,” said Shego as Mama Lipsky talked on, “Perfect, yes that would be great.”
She hung up and flopped back in backseat confidently.
“She's sending us a lift,” hummed Shego proudly.
She heard Drakken drop some tools and then clear his voice.
“Did she say she was sending a lift or coming to get us?” asked Drakken with a curious tone.
“Hmm, sending,” yawned Shego.
“I wonder who she might send to aid us, Shego,” Drakken spoke with clear intent.
“I dunno, a car, a tow, a....” Shego's eyes shot up as she remembered where they'd just left from, “Fix it! Fix this vehicle before he can even get to a truck.”
Drakken let out a soft sigh and walked towards her where her pleading hands gripped the front of his coat and he leaned down towards her and she saw the water in his eyes.
“Shego...” he sniffed, “I cant fix it.”
Shego groaned in defeat and melted into the backseat knowing who was about to come and add the cherry to her exhausting evening.
The stars scattered the sky above as the pink and blue swirled as the sun now dipped below the horizon. She wanted to focus on the sounds of the freeway and any crickets in the scattered woods off where they were parked. Unfortunately, she closed her eyes and groaned, the only sound she could hear was from the front of the hovercar. Motor Ed and Drakken were arguing about which part was needed to repair the hovercar as they waited for one of Ed's henchmen to bring a wrecker as the parts were not available. Shego sniffed to herself as all she wanted was to be home in her hot tub and end this evening in a nice warm bed.
She glanced as Drakken slammed the hood on Motor Ed's head causing a fight to break out and let out a deep sigh and looked back up at the sky.
I need a vacation.

Dr. Drakken: That's not true! I put out that bridge fire when I flooded that Macy's.
