    Belka will never completely accept anyone who chooses to look past or ignore what she does, or the risks involved with becoming close to her. One must understand that they may even run the risk (however high or low) of being killed by her, should she ever receive a contract that requests her to assassinate them. She needs to be shown that every single part of her will be accepted. Both her human side, yearning to experience and explore emotions of all kinds, to her monstrous side, that kills without question or hesitancy. Looking past her injustices would be the same as telling her that they fear the side of her that lives purely for her profession.

     The objective of winning her heart is impossible so long as she has no idea how it is her heart functions. One must be prepared for a slow burning process of being a guide to her emotions, as love is just as much a learning experience to her as it will be an emotional one. She will have little issue describing to someone what she is experiencing physically, such as a heart aflutter, but it will be the other’s job to interpret and explain to her what that means. However, these feelings may not always be present, even after she has committed herself to someone. This is due to her being gray-romantic, but while feelings of romance towards a partner may come and go at random points and periods of time, the sense of attachment, loyalty, and association of that person with that romantic attraction will never fade. That is why patience and acceptance that she will not always be in a loving state is important.

     It is very important to strike a balance between providing both space and affection for her, but only after she has already familiarized herself to the point of comfort first (which is a different process altogether). For those she is comfortable with, simple gestures are a good start, such as inviting her to join in an activity, or helping out with work or chores. Once a friendship is established, she tends not to mind small instances of touch, such as head pats, holding hands, or engaging in conversation she would have thought worthless if it was with a stranger. Hugs are ultimately her favorite form of contact, but unless your name is Camilla or you’ve already attained the status of significant other, take care in not making them come out of nowhere, or smothering her with such actions, as it can greatly irritate her when pushed too far. She is much like a cat in this sense, and after a bit of time and effort, one will be able to recognize when she is either in need of space or affectionate gestures.
