Ever wanted @lordcrumps' Traditional Tomarang Stairs (from TS4's For Rent EP)... but recolorable? They're some of my favorite modular stairs but that doesn't mean I want half my catalog full of 'em.

Remember to put the .txt file into the modular stairs Scriptorium folder. If you rename the .package file, you'll also need to edit the name in the .txt file to match. I used the same ID as the original Tomarang Stairs A, so you can't have both.

Medieval Loading Screens

Hope your all okay? I’m away from PC for a little bit whilst I’m back at work, but these are medieval loading screens to do into your main downloads folder. I can not get the loading screen for houses changed, for now! But here is what I have so far! Enjoy! If you have any other loading screen replacements, please remove these to use these!

Random Medieval Gifts to Share

Hi everyone, I have a couple of random medieval-themed gifts to share tonight ❤️

Firstly, my custom loading screen that I made for my Medieval Install from a picture of the Village Green area in my MCC, Midiville. Since playing on Linux makes it super duper easy to have multiple installs of the same game, I now have one devoted to Medieval, and made this my loading screen. So if anyone else would like this, it needs to go into (vary this per your game install on your system) Program Files (x86) / The Sims 2 / Double Deluxe / Base / TS Data / Res / UI - essentially, just your base game UI folder!

Next, per a request I had from @elenwewy and with permission from @lordcrumps, I am uploading to share the dirt road defaults and lush terrain that the ever wonderful Alex made for me and my hood quite a while back, which never got uploaded anywhere officially. When I made my dark rural lanes set, they were made with the texture of these roads.

Because they're made by Alex they are of course super high quality and look awesome in game,

come with a road overlay rug with multiple variations of road texture,

and of course come with a matching terrain paint. There is also a matching terrain paint for the lush terrain, and also a lighter dirt texture that matches very well with the roads -

I've been using these for years, completely love them!

In terms of winter textures, Alex and I fiddled around quite a LOT trying to make sure that they have proper textures on lot view when there is snow accumulation. What we discovered is that certain mods that impact this have to be loaded together in a particular order for the roads to appear correctly, like so -

And not revert back to the default maxis road.

Included in my download is the Road Transparency Fix, which should be loaded first. If you have any kind of shader fixes, they must also load before the roads, and then if you have SimNopke's SkyFix, that must load AFTER the road defaults, for these winter textures to appear correctly. Here's a picture of the load order in my folder which works:

I have NOT included any shader fixes or SimNopke's SkyFix in my download, but if you have those mods, I would suggest loading them as so. (Hint, this works for any road default replacements I have tried so far!)

Medieval Default Madness: Part 1

So about a year ago, I decided to start learning to convert clothing from TSM and The Sims 4 in an effort to have more options for medieval clothing in The Sims 2. Long story short, it turned into a massive project in which I ended up making default replacements for every outfit* I could find in The Sims 2 that either didn't have a medieval default, or didn't have one that I liked (minus one adult outfit that I'll hopefully get to, and I haven't looked at YA clothes cos I don't use the YA lifestage in medieval... yet!)

Firstly, I need to give a huge shoutout to @platinumaspiration because I wouldn't have gotten very far at all without her. When I first started learning these skills, I was watching Nikki's video tutorials and sent her a message asking for help / clarification on a few things, and she ended up sitting down with me on Discord for a few hours and walking me through the entire process of converting Sims 4 clothing from start to finish, showing me all kinds of tips and tricks, and has been my go-to when I've gotten stuck. She shared all kinds of conversion resources with me, saved me time, energy and mental health, so thank you, Nikki 🥰 I appreciate your time so much!

Now, I am still a baaaaby mesher / CAS content creator. You may notice issues with my meshes. If you would like to fix them, please do, and send me a message letting me know so I can update stuff! If you are like me and think, "good enough", thank you 😂🙈

TSM-to-TS2: Medieval Traits (Completers)

Published: 1-9-2025 (via Discord) | Updated: 2-3-2025 SUMMARY Here are 32 traits (inventory objects – “tokens”) taken from Sims Medieval (EA/Maxis/Sims Studio, 2011). They use their original icons and descriptions. There are over 60 traits in the game originally, but many have already been made/converted by Cedanyblee (2020), Laura & Mortia (2020A, 2020B, 2020C), Sun & Moon Star Factory (2021-2022; 2023), Fire Flower (2021), and others. Custom historical-fantasy traits are included in the new collection file for convenience. This set only includes traits which have NOT been made already. Documents with links to the other traits are available for download below. DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §0 | Buy > Misc  > Misc At the time of this post, these are for storytelling/completion purposes only. This is @midgethetree's awesome functional yoga mat, with a few tweaks to make it friendlier for use on an OFB business lot. It's more attractive now, and Sims of any body skill level can use it, not just 3+ points.

This would absolutely not have come together without the helpful guidance of @gummilutt, @hugelunatic, and @heathensimmer helping me and suggesting what to try since I am very much not a modder! But once again, desperately stubborn when it comes to making things work in my own game.

This is just an edit of the mesh, replace Midge's version with mine, but get the recolours from her original post.

Ruched Midi Dress

As I promised, another mashup with this top, now a midi dress! It's a mashup of my 4t2 SP09 Ruched, and Rented-Space’s 3t2 Off Shoulder Dress. The shoes are Io's conversion of Sentate's Vivier pumps, edited by Angelapleasant.

Better Argue Anims

For an unknown reason, Maxis used 'agree' talk anims for the argue interaction. Especially weird as it always causes a relationship hit. In my book, that's the opposite of agreeing.

This mod replaces the argue anims with ones that look, well, arguing. No more enthusiastic smiling while being rampaged at.

Should be base game compatible. I don't know anything this conflicts with, but run HCDU to be sure.
