RadioApple (mostly Hazbin too tbh) language barrier AU where Lucifer only speaks angelic and demonic languages because he didnt give enough of a shit to learn human languages so when he first comes to the hotel Charlie has to act as translator/interpreter for him and when he asks who Alastor is, Charlie lies to Alastor about what exactly he asked, and Alastor, who is 1-surprised about this development and 2-interested beyond measure about it, doesn't try to one-up Lucifer about being a better father figure, how could he if the man isnt going to understand a single word he says?

Instead, he tries the suckup approach, going as far as kissing his hand because if Alastor knows one(1) non-verbal language, it is that of gentlemen and gallantry.

And poor touch starved lonely Lucifer who can't understand the words this sinner is saying but finds the cadence charming... well, can't blame him if he develops a little bit of a crush, can we?
