athena sighed not opening up much still “same old stuff really nothing has reallly happened” she lied straight through her teeth taking a sip of her whiskey 

“how has music bee treating you?” she asked hoping she hadnt heard anything about her

Athena turned when she heard the girls voice “yeah its me” she chuckled softly and nudged minnie playfully “looks like you havent changed much?”she teased playfully

the blonde tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear not wanting to talk about herself and what she had been doing, she had grown rather closed off due to the drugs in the past few years “what have you been up too, sorry it was so sudden i just wanted to catch up”

Minnie looked herself up and down, she would normally change her hair colour when she got bored, but now it was just the icy blonde she normally had. “Nope, still the same old Minnie.” She replied with a gentle smile. 

“It’s fine. I really wasn’t doing much anyway. I’ve been keeping myself busy with music. How about you, what have you been up to?”

Athena’s nerves were running wild she hadn’t seen the other female in years since they had split.Athena had taken a very different approach to life since they split, getting caught up in the drugs and alcohol of the music industry. the fast life if you will.

She walked into the bar, she looked much different from the last time her hair was bleach blonde different from her natural brown she had before, the girl was thinner than before and looked like a completely different person. She sat at the bar and ordered a drink waiting for the other girl to arrive she sipped on her whiskey

It had been a long time since Minnie had seen or heard from Athena. They had broken up years ago and went their separate ways but out of the blue she got a call from her asking to meet up. 

The blonde walked into the bar and looked around before making her way over to the bar. “Athena?” She said softly as she sat next to her ex. Even though she had changed quite a lot, there were still some things about her that she remembered. “You look so different.”

she nodded and turned over closing her eyes

she leaned against the railing of the patio of her hotel room taking a drag from the cigarette in her free hand

athena looked over “do you want to talk now or tomorrow when we wake up and im sober?” she asked the girl as she herself laid back

athena looked back when she felt the movement from the other girl sitting up 

“sorry i didnt mean to wake you” she spoke as she climbed into bed next to the girl, sitting there covering her lap, she wanted to talk things through but thought it would be best to talk about them the next day

Athena got home in the early hours of the morning she walked in the house sighing as she set her bag down. she walked up the stairs and changed into comfy clothes sitting at the edge of the bed she sighed again looking back at the sleeping female behind her before she looked at her feet

“i want to come home, its just... you know how work tends to go for me” she flicked the ashes off the railing and sighed trying her best to keep her composure “i’ll book a flight first thing tomorrow and be home by tomorrow night. okay? im gonna make this work no matter what i have to do”

she sat down on the concrete leaning against the wall holding the phone to her ear still her doubts running through her head “that is if you even want me home at all” it was clear that athena’s emotions where getting the best of her and the glass of wine she had had prior to calling the girl was just making matters worse

Opening the doors taking the few steps into the room looking around she saw a girl who caught her eye. walking past the girl the smell of athena’s cologne was strong she grabbed a glass and poured herself a drink

Athena looked at the girl who looked rather confused and lost knowing she didnt hear her she repeated her statement "are you lost? Do you need help finding some place?" The woman asked the other with a smile

“Sorry you were saying?”  Joy was still getting used to being stuck on earth.  being cut off from the heavenly host.  She looked at the other a bit confused.  Now she wished she had stayed at the tea shop.  The angel there gave her a home but now she needed some time alone.  And that time alone landed her here a bit lost and a bit confused.

Athena was walking down a hallway trying to get to the elevator when she ran into someone, hearing them speak she just shrugged it off and didnt care continuing to get on the elevator.

She rolled her eyes and called to the girl as she walked off "maybe if you paid attention i wouldnt have ran into you!"

Lauren had just stepped out of the elevator when she felt someone collide into her chest, hard!

“Um, excuse you?!” Lauren stressed.

She watched as they turned and pushed the elevator button, completely ignoring her words.

“Wow, okay I guess I’m invisible then!” Lauren huffed rolling her eyes at the person before turning to leave.

She shrugged and moved back so the girl could come in the dressing room "whatever you say just know i warned you" she said as she went to sit on the couch

The dark venue was crowded a blonde woman stood on stage with her other bandmates, the girl singing her heart out pouring every emotion into the words. Preforming was the only healthy way the girl knew how to express her emotions properly which was the only real time she did it, she wasnt a very emotional person.

As their set finished she thanked everyone as the lights went down so they could prepare for the next act, walking backstage Athena wasnt paying attention as she was laughing at something one of her bandmates said accidentally running into someone, not fulling caring who it was “sorry” she said as she continued to walk back to her dressing room
