update on zz as i just about finished it: i liked it quite a lot! judau wasnt as much of a compelling protagonist to me as amuro or kamille was (if we're talking uc gundam), but i Really liked the supporting cast moreso than a lot of other shows (elle is my fave shes one of my fave gundam women for suuuure!) and the pacing was sooo much better, also i love haman as an antagonsist (AND YES I DID CRY MULTIPLE TIMES SEEING KAMILLE. WHAT OF IT!!!!)

i also got halfway through reconguista, and i like it!!!! very good animation, and i ADOOOOORE the designs, theyre so fun i seriously don't even rlly care about the plot it just looks nice, idk whats really going on (im watching upwards of 4 shows at once ? so that might not help) but swagever. i like it

ive watched so much gundam media in the past month heres my review so far (im Still going btw i Will add to this)

0079: loved it, honestly was frustrating to watch pacing-wise but there were some gems throughout, i also adore amuro as a character so that sweetened the deal

(i also watched the three recap movies? fsr? theyre like. fine. i just put them in the background while working on uni stuff as noise LOL)

zeta: fave, like absolute fave so far, loved so much about it even though its like Misogyny Central. it had everything i wanted from 0079 and more (i also love Bad endings so this was perfect for my tastes)

zz: need to finish this....... i dont have many thoughts so far, but the immediate tone shift was Funny

cca: need to do a rewatch...! probably after zz though - but i liked the ending a lot (<- cant remember much about it)

ibo: this shit.... is so ass........ sorry i couldnt watch much of it, its just really hollow feeling to me and very like. idk. overly, boringly gritty. very 2015

wfm: PEAKKK i really loved this, loved the characters and worldbuilding also all the mecha designs are my fave (will be building the calibarn SOON)

gquuuux: liked it more on the rewatch (w friends)!! very well paced and obviously a love letter to the uc timeline, super fun animation and sound design. its just flcl 4 tbh

hathaway: felt like the first half hour of a movie stretched out into the length of a full movie, i like the way theyre going though - some really interesting political intrigue hinted at. obviously just p1 of 3 though.

unicorn: Started watching it, forgot about it, will come back to it when not busy pointing up emoji

when i first heard about the male loneliness epidemic i was like oh yeah close camaraderie and bonding between men is often discouraged in favor of competition or, if not discouraged, at least filtered through a lens of individualism that precludes deep connections. and then i learned what people meant by it (men arent getting laid) to which i say skill issue
