i feel like a good amount of people haven’t seen this clip and it’s a damn shame

(context: the dream team side went to tubbo’s jungle base early before the war was set to start and before the l’manburg side was on. tubbo was alerted of this by george getting an achievement in chat. he shoved everything he’d prepared into his enderchest right before they got there)

[Tubbo quickly puts diamond armor in his enderchest as he takes damage. He puts the last of it in right before he dies.] Tubbo: “Yep, there we go. We got it all in the chest, boys! He respawns and breaks his bed] “Absolute clowns. Go on, you—go on. Kill me. Kill me. Where will I end up, eh? Where will I end up?” [Tubbo_ was slain by Sapnap using [Sapnap’s Schlong]] “Oh?” [He respawns] “And now we’re back at spawn. Onwards to L’Manburg, boys! Onwards to L’Manburg! You think they have crap on us? Oh look, they’re now 12 thousand blocks away and we are going to L’Manburg.”

Its so amazing to me how open and vulnerable Dream manages to be despite the norm for gamer men to be toxic and edgy Dream just really isn’t that. He’s genuine and kind and loving and he’s really not afraid to put himself out there or to be cringe which, in my opinion, is suuuper super admirable. He doesn’t hide behind edgy humor like most people in his position do, his humor, his content, the way he presents is really uniquely him. On top of that he receives hate, brutal hate at that, on almost every front, but still stays open and willing to criticism. He puts himself out there again and again and has never been afraid to take a step back and admit that he’s wrong. A lot of ccs I think reject cancel culture out of a fear of being wrong, out of pride. They don’t really see stans as individuals with feelings and emotions, just a faceless mob, easily generalized and not so often respected. But its so clear to me that Dream respects his fanbase. He respects their art, writing, animations. He respects and actively defends their interests where most ccs don’t. He really puts in the effort to humanize his fans, make them seem like individuals, when ccs so often dehumanize us. It just really sets Dream apart as a content creator and what I think makes him really unique. He’s not easily categorized and he’s built a platform for himself and his friends that really is unique to him and his content, which is extremely admirable on his behalf
