many people who were present during the shooting at sandy hook elementary school reported that the gunshots sounded like “popping” noises or something hitting metal.

a presumed worker at sandy hook hid herself and a student in a class bathroom, which was next to classroom eight, and heard the shooter saying things like “shut the fuck up,” “look at me,” “look at them,” “come over here,” “you’re an asshole.”

one teacher stated that she heard someone running down the hallway while yelling “don’t fucking move.”

a survivor who was a student at sandy hook reported that a teacher (who is unnamed) had lined the students up against the classroom wall. the shooter then “busted in” the room and started shooting. the student was hiding behind a desk and saw the teacher fall down. as the shooter was reloading his gun, students took the chance to run out of the classroom. while the student was running, he saw smoke as well as bodies and blood in the hallway.
