my wings of fire ocs! from left to right you’ve got Kelp; a secluded seawing treasure hunter, Aurora; a young nightwing/icewing hybrid looking for her parents, and Meteor; a bounty hunter for-hire mudwing/skywing hybrid!

An alternate fanon Tsunami design inspired by a friend’s headcanon! Design ftu with credit to @outsmartingbasilisk or CleverBasilisk on insta/da

Design Notes: -Inspired by the hc that all the royal seawings have funky secondary colors(Anemone pink, Tsunami red-violet, etc.) -Purposefully made her have sharper markings and a dark, contrasting design because red is edge  -Has gill and eye markings like most of the royal family, but the slightly hooked under eye marking is unique to her

Um so I have never made any WOF Ocs actually, but I got this idea after a conversation with someone on Instagram about artisan mudwings and I just… had to do it.

This is Kaolin, she is a mudwing with a color defect (sort of like a lavender or arctic morph in hognose snakes) that makes her scales more off-white/purple. Her and her sibs speculate that they all have some small percentage of icewing blood which is showing up in her, but they are for the most part pure mudwing. She and her sibs were all named after different elements found in pottery clay, with Kaolinite being the main ingredient in porcelain! She has gotten a lot of blue tattoos since they show up so nicely on her scales, making her look like a porcelain pot.

She is the main potter in her sibling group, and creates the majority of their wares. Her brother Feldspar works with her in the workshop, firing her pots with his firebreath as well as painting and glazing them. He designed her tattoos. Their sister Shale forages for the clay they use in their pottery, as she has the best nose for the right minerals. Their bigwings Benton and their sister Mica run the front of the house, Mica being the friendly face and Benton handling the money (and being the hard negotiator when someone is being too pushy for Mica). All of her sibs look very standard, she sticks out like a sore thumb!

Kaolin has a delicate claw and sees the beauty in the details. She molds clay as though it were a living thing, coaxing the shapes from the earth. Her earthenware is revered far and wide for its versatility, durability, and beauty.

wanted 2 draw so did a clearsight design. normal & animator friendly design. not sure how i feel but eh. wanted to make her a little chubby but it didnt show up
