We all suffer alone in the real world; true empathy’s impossible. But if a piece of fiction can allow us imaginatively to identify with characters’ pain, we might then also more easily conceive of others identifying with our own. This is nourishing, redemptive; we become less alone inside.
David Foster Wallace (via larmoyante)

bpd problems:
having to exist in a physical form
being awake
neurotypicals trying to “relate” to you
when no-one faves your selfies
feeling too much or feeling nothing at all but never in between and not being able to control it
the whole world being out to get you
// only reblog if u have bpd //
