Mediterranean Villa With A Fusion Of Modern & Andalusian Architecture
A fusion of modern and Andalusian architectural influence comes together to create this pristine Mediterranean villa, which is surrounded by a lush green landscape. Created by AMES Arquitectos, Villa Victoria is highly finished to offer its residents an enviable lifestyle. Airy vaulted ceilings, a plethora of indoor and outdoor water features, a picturesque courtyard and manicured gardens add to the peaceful ambience of the modern home. Whilst rustic stone walls shape the home exterior, the interior is a smooth scene of white rendered walls, contemporary furniture pieces and chic decor accents. An open plan living space and games room proves perfect for entertaining guests, whilst bedroom suites are secluded and serene.
Located on one of the most attractive estates in Nueva Andalucía, the home is blessed with uplifting green views of a rolling grassy landscape and mature trees.
An infinity pool dominates the back patio of the property in an L-shaped installation, which wraps a social sun patio.
By night, Villa Victoria comes alive under the golden glow of its exterior lighting scheme. Lamps uplight the shrubs around the private landscaped garden, whilst LED strips outline the steps that connect the different patio levels.
The Mediterranean villa is built on one level and split into two wings, with an exquisite welcome hall causing pause in between. The left wing is home to an impressive open-plan living room, an elegant kitchen, a home office, and a games room with a bar. The right wing houses four bedroom suites that enjoy direct access to the garden.
The remarkable gardens of this exquisite villa offer options for both sheltered and unsheltered relaxation areas. Contemporary fireplaces make the spaces comfortably usable even on chillier nights. Outdoor dining spaces create more options for entertaining guests or simply changing up the scenery for lunch and dinner. An outdoor kitchen means never even having to step foot inside.
Numerous outdoor chaise lounge chairs line up along the sun patio to provide a spot for daytime tanning or evening conversations.
The outdoor lounge areas take in breathtaking views over the exclusive Aloha golf course.
Access can be made from the garden into a state-of-the-art SPA that is situated in the basement level of the home, and is exclusively designed for wellness.
Large stone slabs make a path of stepping stones towards the front entrance of the luxury home.
The foyer opens up on both sides, with the back doors leading directly onto the pool terrace. Crisp white ottomans surround a decorative entryway table at the heart of the foyer, which bursts with botanical displays.
After dusk, the patio is a majestic place that seems to twinkle with excitement.
A vaulted ceiling instils a sense of grandeur into a bright white and beige living room decor scheme. Built-in bookshelves are backlit to create a cosy atmosphere in the pale surroundings. A symmetrical layout builds balance and harmony.
Four coffee tables create a strong core at the centre of the airy lounge area. Planters, candles, vases and a coffee table book collection provide simple tabletop decoration. A wine storage wall builds colour across the living room wall, which stretches back toward the open plan kitchen diner area.
The floor-to-ceiling windows feature a set of retractable doors that draw back to create a free flowing link between indoor and outdoor living. In the dining room, modern chairs are upholstered in white to match the sectional sofas in the adjacent lounge space.
A dining island offers a more casual spot for eating breakfast or snacks. Two chic kitchen pendant lights are paired up to brightly illuminate both the island prep area and tabletop.
The inviting games room also has a well equipped bar. A mirrored wall increases the sense of space in the already well proportioned room.
A set of built-in bookcases cosily divide the pool table area from an intimate TV room.
The fabulous master suite is a welcoming space with natural light and the highest quality fixtures and finishes. A black-framed 4 poster bed and coordinating nesting tables contrast boldly against a tranquil white and beige backdrop.
All of the bedrooms are large in size and include their own en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe.
The pool terrace and gardens connect each of the rooms of the home together, including all of the guest bedrooms.
A glimpse inside one of the exquisite bathrooms reveals a world of high-end fixtures and furnishings, and a beautiful bathroom fireplace that will make warm bubble baths last and last.
A glimpse inside one of the exquisite bathrooms reveals a world of high-end fixtures and furnishings, and a modern fireplace by the bathtub that will make warm soaks last and last.
A double sink bathroom vanity unit lines the opposite wall.
TVs equip the bedrooms, but who needs a screen when there are garden views like this?
A glass wall ensuite accepts natural light from the bedroom.
The modern home office is a private space set away from the general hustle and bustle of the home.
A spiral staircase sweeps up past a bespoke bookcase wall. Comfortable chaise lounges and a small side table create an irresistible reading nook.
Indoor stepping stones skim over a reflection pool.
The reading nook looks out upon a zen courtyard design.
Retractable doors blur the boundary between interior and exterior spaces.
The luxurious home boasts an infra-red sauna, steam bath, ice pool, and jacuzzi.
Yet another kitchen diner space offers an alternative entertaining area. Two dining room pendant lights convey a traditional lantern aesthetic.
A fully equipped home gym completes the layout.

Polished Vietnamese Homes With Green Spaces Inside
High-end furniture and richly tonal colour palettes create sophisticated spaces inside these three polished Vietnamese homes. This upmarket image is peacefully balanced with a peppering of green spaces inside, in the shape of understairs courtyards, hideaway terraces and integrated indoor planters. The effects of Mother Nature are dominant in the character and harmony of these interiors, evoking a sense of tranquillity and encouraging a slower pace of life at home. In a fast-moving world, we should always make time to stop and smell the roses. There is also plenty of inspiration for impressive living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms, stylish bedrooms, creative outdoor living spaces, and modern staircase designs.
Visualizer: Dương Phan
Cognac coloured living room chairs mirror one another across a cool grey living room rug. A pair of round nesting coffee tables create a contrasting couple in the centre of the open plan lounge space.
Concrete living room decor builds a bold TV wall treatment. A sleek modern media unit underlines the wall mounted TV screen, whilst a stack of bookshelves build a warm wooden tower.
White marble floor tiles flood a clean, space expanding floor treatment through the living space and home entryway.
An impressive staircase design ascends to the second floor of the home amidst a spray of towering indoor plants that spring from a small indoor courtyard below the treads.
A modern L-shaped kitchen wraps the dining dining area with a row of contrasting grey and white cabinets.
The dining table is integrated into the side of the kitchen island to create one streamlined piece. A woven dining room pendant light brightly illuminates the eating area. See more inspiration for dining room pendant lights here.
A square landing area is made use of as a home library.
Outside on the narrow terrace, a koi fish pond bubbles between raised planters filled with lush shrubs.
Raised planters surround the balcony too, where an outdoor dining set makes a perfect, shady spot for brunch.
A twin bedroom is decorated with a sophisticated cognac and grey colour scheme. A large Oda floor lamp by Sebastian Herkner lights one bedside, whilst a smaller alternative illuminates the other.
A narrow shelf furnishes the simple TV wall, providing a ledge for a small decorative vase and some added greenery.
The next bedroom is a double with fully fitted furniture, which includes custom-made wardrobes, a floating desk and a window seat with storage.
The platform bed slots neatly into the furniture plan too, with a bespoke base and headboard. A grey bedroom rug coolly counteracts the warm wood tone.
Decorative vases add colour by the TV.
This grey bedroom scheme is textured with a headboard feature wall of raw concrete.
More custom-made furniture builds a pristine, taylor-made aesthetic.
Illuminated bookshelves provide soft bedside lighting.
An outdoor dining table makes use of a large terrace area, as does a useful laundry zone.
A raised deck has been covered over with a plant-strewn pergola for shade.
Two outdoor chaise lounge chairs are placed in prime position for the view.
The front entrance makes a smart first impression with a crisp grey block driveway and welcoming outdoor lighting.
The home is stacked to combat the property’s narrow footprint. See some especially narrow properties here.
Visualizer: Phuong Vu
Next up, this unique home interior has a character all of its own that is conjured through unusual furniture silhouettes, a moody lighting scheme, and a huge circular window that frames a peaceful green vista.
A modern ceiling fan with light whirs cool air over a Chips lounge chair by Lucie Koldová for Ton.
The sculptural stool is the Spun chair designed by Thomas Heatherwick for Magis. A small indoor courtyard echoes the curves in the furniture with its freeform border.
The rectangle dining table is set up against a large indoor planter that supplies more opportunity for blissful greenery.
A round skylight supplies the plant with natural sunlight.
The skylight also brings extra daylight into the black kitchen design.
A circular cutout in the side of the dining table complements the round skylight.
An outdoor bar area has been created just off the living space as a spot in which to socialise with friends and enjoy some air.
The bedroom is a serene space with a split level floor layout.
A floor bed design occupies the raised section of the room, whilst a small sitting area fills the lower part.
A beautiful wood slatted wardrobe design and a low-level vanity table occupy the space at the foot of the floor bed.
Glass doors can be drawn across the sleeping area, separating it from the larger room. A rattan round rug and a matching pendant light define the cosy reading area. A modern pedestal sink and wall mirror are framed in the open doorway.
Rustic stepping stones over pebbles fashion a natural looking walkway down the hall.
Visualizer: Phuong Vu
The final home tour features green decor accents to complement the indoor plant life. Green throw cushions are complemented by natural jute round rug and wood tone furniture. A unique ceiling fan cools the spacious room.
On the opposite side of an organically shaped interior window, a round dining table is set beneath a spectacular shower of foliage.
Wooden wall decor warms the plain white walls.
Three lanterns tumble from the high ceiling, making an enchanting anchor point for the dining spot.
An indoor courtyard grows a tree alongside the staircase design.

Luxury Living With Less Fuss
Luxury living doesn’t have to mean an overcrowded space that boasts all the bells and whistles that interior decor has to offer. A minimalist luxury interior oozes understated elegance and quiet confidence. Less fuss means that high-end furniture pieces are given their time to shine, free of any background noise or unnecessary distractions. Visualised by Tatyana Shapovalova, this luxury minimalist home design comes to life with uniquely styled elements. A superb modern staircase design with marble base treads and atmospheric lighting gives the home a marvellous backbone, a vertical garden and a modern coffered ceiling treatment set the dining room apart from the average, and a sleek dressing room tunnels through the master bedroom.
Visualizer: Tatyana Shapovalova
Tall and elegant Sampei floor lamps designed by Davide Groppi and Enzo Calabrese elevate a simple lounge layout alongside a chic linear sofa design.
Three evenly spaced floor-to-ceiling windows are complemented by three coordinating vertical radiators. Embedded light strips cut across the ceiling plane to distribute even illumination across the large living room.
A modern fireplace and log store forms the focal point for the luxurious living room.
A modern rectanglular coffee table slides a wood and stone accent into the centre of the room. A clear glass vase and stack of coffee table books provide simple adornment. A living room chair provides a pop of colour next to the fireplace.
The sofa end table doubles as a handy bookcase so that the homeowner can quickly and easily grab a book and settle right back in the cushions under the floor reading lamp.
Glass end tables round out the other end of the sectional sofa arrangement. Their dark-tinted finish complements a set of black floating shelf units behind the couch, where decorative vases, bowls and books are neatly contained.
A lush vertical garden wall grows behind a racetrack shaped dining table, providing fresh green interludes between white microcement render.
A contemporary dining room chandelier is suspended from a modern coffered ceiling treatment. This attention-grabbing piece is the Match suspension designed by Jordi Vilardell & Meritxell Vidal for Vibia.
Dual aspect windows flood the eating area with natural sunlight, which warms the wood flooring and pleases the plant life.
The formal dining area is set in an open plan arrangement with the kitchen, which features a smaller, more informal dining spot.
Modern kitchen bar stools bring dark charcoal grey accents to the white stone and stainless steel dining peninsula.
The cooking hob and kitchen sink are installed into the kitchen island to allow the chef to look out at their dinner guests.
A large TV is bedded into the wall of the kitchen diner to provide entertainment whilst cooking, or to keep up with the game during mealtimes.
In the home entryway, a glass section in the floor reflects light from a round skylight that’s directly above it. The unique staircase design features marble base treads that coordinate with the marble hearth in the living space.
Atmospheric lighting oozes out from beneath the upper wooden treads of the mesmerising staircase.
Underneath the stairs, an indoor plant bed houses a small garden with a miniature tree and shrubs.
A stylish stool offers a spot on which to quietly appreciate the beauty of the indoor plants.
Floor-to-ceiling spindles safely close in the modern staircase design whilst providing a cool visual.
The butler’s pantry hides away a wine storage fridge and a coffee-making station.
Moving on into the master bedroom, a grey upholstered bed is teamed with a smooth wood headboard design.
A unique bedroom console table brings in a fashionable arch motif.
Small wall lights provide bedtime reading light on each side of the pillows.
Slimline floor lamps loosely fill one corner of the bedroom layout, whilst a simple bedroom chair furnishes the other.
A floating bedside table is mounted on each side of the headboard. A tiny vanity table and chair fill a narrow nook on the way into the walk-in wardrobe/dressing area.
Upon turning the corner into the wardrobe/dressing room, a corridor of closets unfold on each side.
The walk-in wardrobe stands open at both ends, which brings in natural light.
A floor vase decorates the entryway into the master bedroom.
In the kid’s bedroom, a green and white decor theme moulds a calming space. Solid green paintwork colours the area around the bed, whilst a green kids’ chair accents the desk area. See more kid’s chairs here.
A kids’ bedroom chair offers a comfy reading spot across the room. An illuminated wall shelf provides soft light above the bed.
An arched mirror creates the illusion of an additional doorway inside the entryway to the kid’s room, where it widens the sense of space in the narrow walkway.
Cute kids’ wall decal stickers decorate a plain white wall area, where a wall hung unit provides a handy drop zone by the door.
Decorative handles dot a row of kids’ wardrobes. Green inserts colour a wall of bespoke bookshelves.
A modern bathroom vanity is underlit to create a weightless, floating aesthetic.
A frameless vanity mirror makes the bathroom look spacious and light.
Fresh, folded towels are stored on a bench with an en vogue racetrack silhouette
Mirrored glass and stone cladding build a crisp balance.
A wall hung toilet is tucked behind a frosted glass wall in the bathroom.
A sliding wood slat door closes off the bathroom from the corridor.
The unique bathtub introduces beautiful blonde wood into the scheme.

Rustic Nomadic Interiors With Botanical Beauty
The rustic nomadic style is the earthier, less chaotic cousin of the colourful, prolifically layered boho beauty. A balance of rich and raw neutrals ring a note of inner peace in these spaces, where invisible roots seem to make an innate connection with the planet and the influences of all its continents. Decorative basketweave decor and handmade earthenware pots speak of global artisans, which are celebrated through displays on densely packed shelving nooks and in clusters that spill from every corner. In these two intriguing rustic nomadic interiors, lush botanicals grow bursts of enlivening and invigorating greenery that spills from indoor plant beds and from a tiny terrace that teems with life.
Visualizer: TATI Interior Design
Located in HoChiMinh City, VietNam, this rustic nomadic interior features the low, linear lines of Asian influence. A wooden sofa design stretches an elongated platform through the width of the lounge that also serves as an integrated side table. A unique coffee table design features a low-profile slab combined with a more practical heightened volume; its lattice construction speaks of traditional Asian architecture.
Black steel window frames bring the home bang into modernity. The black casing makes stark contrast against the pale clay walls of the interior.
A cream woven rug makes a textural addition to the ceramic tile floor.
A collection of hefty coffee table books and handmade curiosities from the global market top the rectangular coffee table.
More intriguing pieces from global artisans litter a series of built-in shelving towers around the room, which builds the idea that the homeowners are well travelled and wildly cultured.
Earthenware pots and vases jostle for space above the TV wall in the lounge, whilst a cut log store tucks in beneath a narrow media shelf. A lattice room divider lightly separates the lounge area from the neighbouring kitchen diner in the open plan arrangement.
In the kitchen diner, the wooden Easy chair designed by Pierre Jeanneret has been selected to warmly contrast a cool grey concrete dining island.
Cast concrete builds the kitchen worktop at the back of the room too, making a perfect accompaniment to a wall of rustic wooden base units and open kitchen shelving.
On the opposite side of the kitchen island, three rustic stools face the three Easy chairs by Jeanneret. The low profile of the stools’ silhouette keeps the dining area from appearing overly cluttered.
A fabulous botanical display explodes a natural, decorative touch above the kitchen island.
The woven back of Pierre Jeanneret’s Easy chair complements the lattice construction of the living room coffee table, the room divider between the lounge and kitchen, and the kitchen window treatment.
Indoor plants spill greenery from shelves and pots around the main living space.
A decorative mirror reflects an arch of light by the foot of a winding staircase design.
A tiny terrace teems with life and a love of botanics.
At the end of the terrace, a built-in sofa slots between a rustic stonework wall and a raised planter packed with barrel cacti.
Stepping stones lead through a border of mature cacti and palm plants.
Earthenware pots tumble from the edges.
Inside the master bedroom, bold, raw textures build a deeply satisfying decor scheme. A fringed jute rug underlines a rich wood rustic platform bed that’s flanked with spectacular handmade rattan pendant light shades.
The unused bedroom fireplace is blocked off to form a decorative recess in which to display a few small plants, books and candles.
The rattan bedroom pendant lights descend in front of a beautiful live edge headboard.
Built-in bedside units balance out the raw texture of the rattan with a smooth, streamlined silhouette.
A rugged rock face wall ripples a deep textural feature behind the bed.
Built-in shelves display more worldly goods. An arched door makes an elegant design feature that strikes rustic and contemporary notes.
A second arched doorway in the bedroom leads to the ensuite bathroom via a dressing area.
A rustic round mirror fits neatly into a small dressing table nook by the bathroom door. Louvre closets draw an L-shape around the other side.
Once through the archway, a white concrete vanity unit stretches below a live edge mirror.
A glass wall WC twins the shower enclosure.

In our second home design, a large area rug defines the open plan lounge. A deeply fluted wall treatment expands between two decorative arches on either side of the room.
Two round coffee tables nest in the centre of the living space, creating a core for the U-shaped seating arrangement of sofa, living room chairs, and stools.
An indoor plant bed situates a small courtyard between the lounge and dining areas. A unique shelving unit adds extra height to the vista.
A black metal spiral staircase twists a brief industrial vibe through the heart of the home.
The rustic kitchen design opens onto a small terrace with a raised bed of cacti.
A KAWS character perches on an outdoor bench.
Two dining room pendant lights are paired up to illuminate the full length of a live edge dining table.
Decorative baskets dot the dining room wall.
A fresh hint of green colours the kitchen wall cabinets, connecting the decor with the green plant life on the terrace.
On the opposite side of the living room, great doors open onto a courtyard with an eye-catching sculptural bench.
The courtyard creates a pause between the living space and the parking garage.
A second staircase links to the upper floor from this outer area.

A Monolithic Argentinian House Set In Stone And Concrete [Video]
This Argentinian house takes on a linear, monolithic form that dominates a green landscape next to a native forest. Built with walls of cold concrete, the large house presents a hard, brutalist exterior that can be seen from afar. As onlookers draw nearer, intermittent walls of rustic stone interrupt the smooth expanses of grey render, bringing texture and depth into rectangular cutaways. Created by architects at Patio Estudio, the house design is both separated and connected by patio areas that expand the volume of the home. The patio elements create an interior-exterior link and work as an integral part of the floor layout, complementing the main functions of the home.
Located at the edge of a sloped neighbourhood, the house is blessed with green surroundings and a lush native forest backdrop. The plot on which the linear concrete house is built is suitably flat.
Other than turf, vegetation around the house is sparse. A raised planter has been constructed at the front of the house to healthily balance out the cold concrete and stone exterior.
A swimming pool hugs the side of a ground floor terrace, where outdoor furniture encourages socialising in the open air. The ground floor terrace also has a barbecue area and is connected to a volleyball court.
Soil was extracted from around the site to elevate the house to a rise of 1.3 metres. This adjustment raises the line of sight to skim over the neighbouring grove and onto a more superior view of the larger landscape.

The entrance to the brutalist house exterior is located on the upper floor, and is accessed by a long, winding ramp.
The upper floor of the home contains nine different spaces: the living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms.
The rooms are connected by a passageway and separated by patios.
Inside the home, a warm and inviting atmospheric lighting scheme illuminates walls of rich wood tone panels and matching doors. A custom-made built-in sofa design echoes the sleek and linear aesthetic of the home exterior. Cognac leather seat cushions soften the look.
A stone fireplace cuts down between large living room windows. Modern wood storage units wing each side.
Walking down the corridor that links the rooms, we pass doorways to terraces and numerous rugged stone feature walls.
Out on one of the terraces, we discover a complex view of overlapping interior and exterior volumes.
The ground floor garage pulls up alongside the swimming pool and barbeque area, separated by a thick stone wall.
Eleven patios create voids across the volume of the house that split up the nine solid interior modules.
The monolithic concrete structure of the building gives the home an introverted character.
The concrete skin that surrounds both interior and exterior patios ensures ultimate privacy from even the closest neighbours.
Once the homeowners and their visitors make it beyond the secretive concrete armour that encases the home, focus is largely pushed toward the patios inside.
The sweeping pathway that rises into the centre of the house is an experience all on its own, where glimpses of the landscape compete with bold architectural features.
A flower bed filled with delicate white blooms seems to playfully contradict the weight, solidity and linearity of the neighbouring architecture.
At night, the brutalist house design comes alive with light that bursts forth from massive expanses of glass and open patios.
Whilst the concrete entryway looks hard and foreboding, it is actually a gently sloping gradient that serves as a non-discriminatory access ramp for all physical abilities.
The winding pathway draws out a welcoming meander to the upper floor where the main living space is located.
Upon the incline, a peek into the social spaces of the home is permitted through wide windows.
Raised planters bring a touch of the green landscape to the top of the stylish concrete access ramp.
The same stone and concrete finishes form a cohesive materials palette both outside and inside of the home, with wooden elements added inside to smooth and warm the living spaces and bedrooms.
The ascending pathway rises to the top in the shape of a question mark. Shrubs grow around the sides, softening the effect of its concrete finish.
Whether looking on to the inside patios of this introverted house, or looking out to the neighbouring forest, the views are splendid.
Birdseye view of the property and plot.
The patios are perceived as just another part of the house to be frequented and enjoyed as much as the other rooms.
Uplights bring a whole new character to the outdoor spaces at night, when they highlight the textural aspect of the cast concrete and the impressive rugged stone walls. Shrubs make dramatic shadows.
The prolific use of wood in the interior makes a smooth change from the outer image of the home.
The fenestration conjures a seemingly infinite arrangement of near and far reaching views.
Elegant outdoor furniture ties in with black steel elements included around the architecture and borrows wooden accents from the interior.
Concrete cutouts hang like enormous Tetris shapes against the clear blue sky, coming to rest on a bed of green.
The entry pathway reaches all the way to the road.
The property is set just a few metres back into the plot.
Overlapping concrete slabs create a unique entry point.

Modern Luxe Interiors Enriched With Gold And Stone
Gold accents and high-grade Italian marble weave a thread of modern luxury through these two contemporary home designs. The fine beige, wood-like vein of Serpeggiante marble pays the perfect complement to the lustrous metallic elements that highlight these interiors, where there is solid emphasis on finishes and elegance. A tame infusion of gold dances across the first home design, upgrading a simple media unit, home accessories, and making a splash in the kitchen. The golden touch increases in home tour number two, where we witness another glorious gold kitchen island and a gold-backed fireplace with a deluxe Serpeggiante marble surround, plus a chic marble clad bathroom design dashed with gold fixtures.
Designer: Quadro Room
Located in a riverside residential complex overlooking the Zhivopisny bridge in Moscow, Russia, this 80 square metre apartment concept focuses on high-end finishes and luxe gold accents. Straight lines form a leading feature of this design, which direct the gaze around the room.
A linear wall light stripes down a wall of divided wood panelling that is interspersed with vertical mirrors. This fractured effect causes an optical illusion of added space, as if another room unfolds on the other side of the split panels.
Serpeggiante marble forms a polished, round coffee table in the centre of the light lounge space. A small black side table makes a darkly contrasting companion to the piece.
The sectional modern sofa lays down a minimalistic outline. Two ottomans align to create unobstructive seating in front of the living room window.
A cream living room rug holds the layout together and creates cosy comfort underfoot.
The floating tv stand threads a line of gold into the pale living room decor scheme, enriching the space with a dash of luxe.
A TV speaker props on top of the wall mounted media unit, without any added decor pieces to create a fuss.
A unique modern wall sconce introduces a gold accent to the home entryway, which is situated just off the lounge in a free flowing, open plan arrangement.
Internal doors reach all the way to the ceiling line of the apartment in frameless doorways, where their finish camouflages with the surrounding walls.
The entryway door is highlighted under a warm wood finish that melds with its surrounding feature wall. Black hardware adds a contemporary touch.
A made-to-measure floor-to-ceiling mirror is conveniently situated by the entry door, along with a chic marble entryway table. A strip of white LED light cuts sharply down one edge of the mirror, where the silver glass amplifies its bright effect.
A modern decorative vase brings the golden accent to the front door. See more options for beautiful decorative vases here.
The open plan entryway sweeps around the kitchen diner that stands opposite the lounge.
A linear chandelier descends on a dining island, which features a lowered tabletop for a more traditional feel and comfort.
Two dining chairs pull up to the wraparound island table, where a spherical vase makes a simple centrepiece on top of the higher counter space.
A luxurious gold finish defines the kitchen island and a row of upper kitchen cabinets. See more inspiration for gold accents in interior design.
The lower kitchen units counteract the lavish gold finish of the uppers with a smooth, natural wood tone finish. A black faucet and black kitchen sink punctuate a white Serpeggiante marble backsplash and countertop.
Moving on into the master bedroom suite, we find the space split almost evenly between the sleeping area and a very generous walk-in wardrobe. A pair of mini pendant lights drip gold accents into the pale grey and white scheme.
White marble bedside units meld with a marble headboard feature. Gold electrical outlets interrupt the white marble with lustrous effect.
Gold-framed glass doors keep the garments dust free inside the walk in closet
Gold hardware dashes the wood effect drawer fronts with an expensive looking finish.
LED lights showcase the contents of the walk in wardrobe, whilst a couple of gold ceiling lights shine down upon the dressing area.
Neat storage boxes stow away some out of season garments and accessories. Designer bags are showcased under the spotlight of illuminated shelves.
White marble and gold accents smooth across a deluxe bathroom design. A ring of LED light creates the look of a round mirror within a custom-cut rectangular expanse.
Bespoke drawers and shelving tuck inside of a recessed nook to make use of all available space in the compact room.
A beautiful lighting feature has been created with another nook behind the freestanding bathtub.
A gold side table complements the gold bathroom fixtures.
Inside the kid’s bedroom, a sweet apricot accent warms a predominantly white base scheme. Fluted wall panels and a coordinating headboard create moments of interesting texture. See more ideas for kids’ beds here.
A narrow bookcase and a cushioned window seat make a cosy reading nook across the bedroom window.
A modern bedside table carves more texture into the decor scheme to complement the headboard wall.
The wardrobe is fronted with a mirrored panel that slides away to reveal an apricot painted interior.
Shelves and drawers line the side of the small walk-in wardrobe. LED strips illuminate the space to aid easy selection.
The bedroom window seat is integrated not only with the bookcase by the bed, but with a kids’ desk design at the opposite end.
Beige drapes softly frame black steel window frames.
Knitted toys make cute shelf decor.
The guest bathroom is atmospherically lit with under-cabinet lighting and a contemporary wall light.
Gold trims and matching fixtures warmly reflect the lighting scheme.
A unique bathroom sink dips into the marble vanity countertop.
A thin gold frame elegantly defines the vanity mirror.
Floor plan.
Designer: Xenia Korobova   Visualizer: Anastasiya Zhigir
Our second home design is kissed with the contemporary arch trend, alongside stunning gold accents and luxurious Italian marble.
A set of contrasting round coffee tables create a unique centrepiece in the lounge area, one cool stone and the other metallic gold.
A modern wall sconce takes the golden accent to the wall. A modern gold chandelier and the reveal around the window offer a matching lustrous finish.
The lounge area opens straight into the kitchen diner space, where a gold kitchen island commands the room. A linear suspension light draws along the full length of the island and an attached dining table.
Serpeggiante marble builds both the kitchen countertop and its cantilevered dining table. Its beige wood-like vein complements a wall of floor-to-ceiling kitchen cabinet doors across the back of the room.
Clear dining chairs seat ghostly silhouettes at the small dining table. Two decorative vases make up a neat table centrepiece.
The wood effect cabinet doors at the back of the kitchen tuck away in a pocket door fashion when the kitchen sink area is in use.
With the kitchen cabinet pocket doors open, a rich golden framework is revealed around a Serpeggiante marble backsplash, countertop and integrated kitchen sink.
In the hallway, wood effect storage cabinets match the neighbouring kitchen.
Modern wall sconces dot the wooden panels.
A floor-to-ceiling mirror is set inside a stunning gold reveal.
With the kitchen all closed up, the white, wood and gold interior has a reposeful atmosphere.
A small dividing wall subtly separates the living area from an open bedroom.
Large bedroom pendant lights and a marble bedside table make up an attractive focal point that can be seen from the living room couch.
A gold-backed shelf recess cuts above the marble bedside units and upholstered bed.
Another golden window reveal bejewels the bedroom.
A decorative vase and bowl make pretty bedside adornments.
See more options for decorative vases here.
A bedside clock adds a golden touch onto a small side table.
The diving wall that separates the living and bedroom areas is a fabulous marble creation with a fluted texture treatment around its base. In the lounge it serves as the TV wall.
In the bedroom, the marble diving wall is the chimney breast.
The modern fireplace is trimmed with gold.
Stone coloured drapes complement the chimney breast.
More glorious stonework clads the bathroom. A custom-cut bathroom mirror opens up a sense of space in the small room.
The entire shower wet wall is striped with the wood-like grain of Serpeggiante marble.
Gold towel bars ladder up the wall by the shower, where they luxuriously coordinate with the gold showerhead and gold shower screen mount.
The toilet cistern is concealed behind attractive marble panels and a gold flush plate.
Concealed LEDs highlight the bespoke marble sink.

Dark Wood Tone Decor: Ideas For Your Next Project
The richness of wood has always shaped desirable home interiors, from the traditional to the ultra modern. Dark wood tones are particularly dramatic, and lend themselves luxuriously to this collection of three contemporary home interiors. We’ll tour a fabulous high-end studio concept that is encased with sleek dark wood panelled walls. We’ll look at how to brighten dark walls in an apartment where bright artwork and mirrored panels completely change up the vibe for a young family. Finally we’ll tour a home where wood clad walls meet raw grey microcement and the atmospheric golden glow of backlit shelving around a bespoke TV wall unit and a stocked wine storage wall.
Visualizer: Item Design
Measuring 72 square metres, this luxury studio apartment is located in Saint Petersburg, Russia. A modern sectional sofa dominates the studio layout, on a living room rug that visually and texturally defines the split of space between the sitting area and dining zone.
Smooth, dark wood wall panels encase the apartment, with lattice panels marking a decorative border around the base and ceiling lines, A small floor vase houses a burst of greenery that freshens the darkly dramatic wall treatment.
Floating wall shelves in the same dark wood finish seem to extrude from the panelled room perimeter. A minimalist collection of books and design items sparsely cover their surface.
A slimline, black floor reading lamp almost disappears against the dark surround, as does the black TV screen.
Visualizer: Item Design
A portiere curtain draws around the sleeping area of the studio to conceal it from the main living space. A curved curtain track with a deep wood pelmet creates a pleasant visual.
Lightweight beige drapes reveal only silhouettes of what lies inside. The light fabric allows some light to permeate into the bedroom from the living room windows.
With the curtains drawn back, the bedroom remains clearly defined thanks to a marginally raised platform. The curved platform floor is built in dark wood to match the walls of the apartment, and scoops around to meld neatly with the panelled wall.
The curved platform is part of a bespoke floor bed design. A bedroom lamp with a flat shade looks like a tiny bedside table.
A pure white microcement floor effectively lightens the dark walled living room dining room combo.
Two low-hanging dining room pendant lights are paired above the length of a modern black dining table. These are the Model 2065 pendant lights designed by Gino Sarfatti for Danish brand Astep.
The lattice wood panels that border the walls are utilised underneath the dining room windows as aptly perforated radiator covers.
A decorative glass fruit bowl makes an elegant, light-reflective table centrepiece.
Beige upholstered dining chairs make light contrast around the edge of the black dining table, and palely coordinate with the window drapes.
The beige drapes fall tidily alongside the end of the kitchen run, which stops short of the wall for this purpose. A simple clear glass panel partially covers the wood wall panels in the kitchen to form an invisible backsplash.
A brass kitchen tap warmly complements the rich wood backdrop. White base cabinets make clean contrast.
A mirrored panel door leads into the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom, a white marble farmhouse sink adds a luxe touch to a modern, backlit vanity unit. A small round mirror adds a brass accent to complement the cabinet hardware and tap.
3D perspective drawing.
Visualizer: Pavel Dobrovolskyi
Belonging to a young family in Odessa, Ukraine, this dark wood panelled apartment interior is brightened with mirrored sections and colourful wall art. In the lounge area, a round coffee table adds a moment of texture within the smooth surroundings.
A subtle brown chevron rug beautifully complements the table’s textural effect.
An L-shaped grey sofa wraps the border of the lounge, beneath a lively abstract art piece that burns orange and red.
Another fiery red art piece colours the dining area. Black brush strokes tie in with the black round pedestal dining table.
A white headboard wall brightens the bedroom design. A black bedside table lamp makes a strong silhouette against the light wall, whilst a coordinating black pendant falls over the other floating bedside unit. See more bedroom pendant lights here.
Chocolatey bed covers drape the brown upholstered bed.
Sliding glass doors draw around a dressing area, where open shelves and clothes rails offer organised storage.
A range of wall units and shelves offer various bedroom storage and display options around the TV.
In contrast to the rest of the home interior, the bathroom decor is blissfully light in luxe white marble.
The modern bathtub follows a fashionable racetrack outline.
An illuminated vanity mirror and underlit vanity unit brighten the white room further still.
Visualizer: Blue Studio 288
Grey microcement walls meet with dark wood cladding in our final home interior. A modern chandelier drops halos of light into the centre of the shadowy lounge.
A linear TV wall unit blends with the dark wood backdrop. Backlit shelves cut across the dark wood mount, adding golden glowing stripes.
More atmospheric light trickles across a wall of wine storage in the dining room.
A small courtyard separates the dining room from the kitchen. The skylight above the courtyard brightly breaks the dark interior.
The L-shaped kitchen follows the same dark wood aesthetic as the wall panelling to achieve one cohesive surround.
Black marble builds the backsplash, main countertop and a wraparound perimeter worktop. Dove grey kitchen bar stools gently lighten the look.

Reposeful Interiors Fitted With Custom Furniture
Visualised by Product Wish Design, these five modern home designs are reposeful in their understated neutral palette and pared-back minimalist decor style. Each home interior is fitted with sleek custom furniture designs that create streamlined room layouts and plentiful storage opportunities. Clean white paintwork, natural wood grain, dapples of uplifting greenery, and soothing beige elements make a calming balance of decor tones. Within these restful surroundings, personalised touches shape the flush-fitted furniture to instil unique character and unexpected interest. Contemporary accent chairs, wall art, textured wall panelling, illuminated shelving, perimeter lighting and beautiful modern pendants are added to the mix, where they successfully fashion fascinating ensembles to amuse a creative eye.
This living room dining room combo features a full wall of media storage. Custom-made cabinets build an expanse of contrasting white and wood finishes behind the TV and around toward the kitchen.
A simple beige living room rug defines the open plan lounge from an adjacent dining area. The light decor tones create an spacious and airy aesthetic despite the close proximity of the two different living areas. A huge window fills the room with natural sunlight.
A charcoal kitchen installation darkly contrasts with the rest of the light living room.
The deep window reveal is clad in wood grain panels to fashion a large window seat that runs the entire length of the room. Above the round  pedestal dining table, an elegant modern dining room pendant light visually anchors the open plan eating spot in place.
Wood effect wall panels warmly frame out the first bedroom too, where they form the base and headboard of floor bed design, and bridge the ceiling. An AIM pendant light descends upon a floating bedside cabinet that juts out of the wood panel wraparound. A ribbon of LED light glows from underneath the unit, giving it a weightless effect.
A soft grey platform bed, matching bedroom rug, and black headboard shade the second wood clad bedroom design.
The third bedroom is an all-white scheme with a just wisp of colour in the bedroom wall decor. Custom-made wardrobes and a bespoke headboard are each highlighted under a bright ribbon of LEDs.
The last bedroom returns to the warmth of wood tone, with a fully wood-clad headboard feature wall. Two modern wall sconces illuminate the grain.
In our second featured home design, a bespoke bookcase makes an illuminated focal point in a white living room. A glass coffee table reflects the glow.
A modern sofa floats in the centre of the layout like a white cloud.
An unusual tripod floor lamp glows like an abstract moon.
The flush-fitted bookcase and storage cabinets preserve the minimalist aesthetic of the home by tidying away clutter and maintaining utmost simplicity. White marble backing gives the custom bookshelves a touch of luxury.
A room divider neatly edges the TV wall at one side and the dining area at the other.
Underlit shelves add an atmospheric glow to the dining spot.
A larger, more formal dining room is uplifted with fresh green accent chairs and cheerful wall art.
Decorative vases adorn a floating shelf that protrudes from a small bank of custom wall cabinets.
This reposeful Japandi design is divided with sections of wood slatted panelling.
A flush-fitted wall of TV cabinets and shelving builds a beautiful balance of cool white and warm wood tone.
Pierre Jeanneret’s Kangaroo Chair serves as a Zaisu floor chair beside the coffee table.
A playful monkey sculpture table holds a selection of coffee table books.
Wood slatted doors make a modern take on the traditional Japanese Shōji screen door aesthetic.
Inside the minimalist bedroom, a recessed shelf runs the length of the headboard wall to replace the need for bedside tables–though a couple of items do make it down onto the floor bed platform.
We see a complete style switch inside the second bedroom of this home, where a neoclassical headboard feature is edged with decorative boiserie behind a modern upholstered bed.
A contemporary pendant light adds a dainty addition at one side, whilst a modern bedside table lamp illuminates the other.
In the next bedroom, a biscuit coloured platform bed and matching drapes add tonal interest to a white and pale grey decor scheme. Modern slatted panels and classic boiserie shape a chic focal wall.
In the kid’s room, elements of blush, blue, pistachio and raspberry colour a whimsical decor scheme.
Clouds drift across a kids wall mural, and a bunch of balloon lights take to the sky.
The minimalist modern living room inside our fourth featured home is a peaceful white and beige scene.
A bespoke bookcase is combined with a sliding slatted door to create a permeable design.
Custom media units call attention to the TV wall, which features a back-lit asymmetrical cut-through.
Chevron pattern runs through the beige living room rug, adding subtle interest to the neutral lounge. A unique lounge chair and chaise sofa design shape unusual silhouettes.
A contemporary bedroom chair adds sculptural interest to the master.
A floating bedside cabinet tags onto one edge of the asymmetrical headboard installation, whilst a small table serves the other side.
Fully-fitted bedroom furniture makes good use of wall space around this wood grain headboard design with recessed shelf nook.
Our final home tour is peppered with custom design and industrial style touches, including exposed concrete beams and columns.
Bespoke cabinets smooth out the TV wall, blending into clean white paintwork. A freeform cut of white marble partially covers a raw concrete column to create a luxurious counterbalance.
A slimline lounge chair reclines at the end of a double-sided sofa design.
Wall cabinets are creatively customised with curved cuts along the baseline, which seem to sweep theatrically into the hallway.
A curved headboard panel embraces the bed.
Curved cutouts shape a shelving unit and a unique room divider.
