“I honestly doubt that, too. If anything, they’re using it on themselves to buy better lunch.”
“They’ve gotta learn to share. Sometimes going off campus is just not an option.”

“I doubt it ever will, to be honest. May as well leave for lunch. Or eat it anyway, it’ll probably make you sick enough to miss class.”
“This place is run by rich kids, is there not some sort of funding going into better cafeteria food?”

“Do you really want to get into this game?”

“On second thought, no, because you scare me. I should probably let you get back to editing, too.”

“oh” Lori suddenly lost her apatite and instead got a craving for vodka. “Good to have gotten that cleared up” She didn’t know why she felt a little queasy at his words. She pulled her special gummy bears from her bag and put six or seven in her mouth at once.
“What do you mean?” Drew asked, raising an eyebrow at Lori.

“If you say so” Lori put half of the sandwich on a napkin “It’s kind of an apology for the whole Lake thing, you’re not my babysiter and i want you to know it doesn’t get that bad normally. I think it was the environment I drink around older people so I try really hard not to embarrass myself but at the bon fire I was just around you guys and I kind of didn’t give a shit”
“Yeah... the lake thing was kind of out of hand, but it’s whatever. I’m always gonna look out for you, you know that. You’re like my little sister.”

“You know I’ll share my BLT with you.” Lori pointed to the sandwich already sliced in half.
“You’re a good friend, Lori.”

“There is no way in hell I’m going to eat the nasty cafeteria tacos three days in a row. It’s money that I have and money I’m willing to spend to avoid the disappointing taco meat.”
“You hold a good point. Aren’t you part of student council? Can’t you do something about the cafeteria food?”

“I have no fucking clue. But either way, that’s why I usually drive off campus for lunch.”
“That’s a lot of money being spent though. Gas money, and food prices are higher.”

“I heard the budget actually went down this year. That’s why we’ve had tacos for the last three days.”
“Why? it’s not like this school has improved in other aspects, where did that money for the food go?”

“Why, yes. I did just run into the door and I’ll probably wind up with a concussion. The good news is that I can now confirm this is a quality door made from good strong wood.”
“Dude...” Drew said, stifling a laugh. “You just hit that door so hard that I felt it.”

Nadia jumped at the sudden noise, looking up from the lab table. “Huh?” She asked before realizing what he had asked. With that she nodded, “Just don’t touch anything and you won’t die.” She commented jokingly. “Safety first.” She said to him hoping he understood.
She turned on the burner as she took out a green substance. “So if you pour just a little bit of this in.” She began before mixing the substance a bit, “Tell me what it smells like.” She said to him.
Drew walked over towards her table and let out a small laugh. “Gotcha. Don’t touch anything and avoid death. Sounds good.” He said, nodding. He still wasn’t sure why she wanted to show him, of all people, and as he watched her mix the green substance, he raised an eyebrow.
“What is it supposed to smell like?” He asked carefully, staring down at it. Drew was not about to sniff some unknown compound without some sort of idea of what was to come.

Nadia led awaited Drew’s arrival once she had reached the Chemistry lab. Quickly she began to prepare everything, making sure to put on her lab coat and goggles. She sighed slightly as she spun in her seat, groaning loudly in boredom.
Nadia was a bit hesitant at showing, anyone really, her experiments. But Drew was an exception, he would understand what she was doing.
Drew was feeling pretty cautious about being alone in the Chemistry lab with Nadia, since, well, he wasn’t really friends with Nadia. He knew her from Chemistry, knew she was smart, and knew that she could probably kill him with chemicals if she wanted to. But, since Drew was fairly certain she wasn’t going to kill him with chemicals, he pushed open the door to the lab, a small smile on his face.
“Alright, was that enough of a wait time?” He asked, scanning over the equipment that had been laid out on the work benches.
