Dr HUGENSTEINS TOP 10  Wrestlers Of ALL TIME

So here we are with the first Dr H. Top Ten List!  Figured we should start this out with a BANG! No pun intended since you won’t be seeing DDP or his Yoga in this list.  I felt the need to go all over the map as far as years, abilities, whatever.             Fuck that though, these are simply the top wrasslers that entertained me.  It’s all about entertainment value and how excited I was to see them wrestle or cutting promos.... Prepare to agree or disagree!

10. (The Nature Boy) RIC FLAIR - As a kid growing up I loved the bad guys, the heels, or the faces that simply just didn't care.  Ric Flair was the 1st wrestler I saw that embodied that I don't give a fuck attitude.  Wearing bedazzled robes, having a mom haircut no matter what decade he wrestled and being “rich” were all hate-able things.  Except to me, that just showed me that he IS The Man because he does whatever he wants.  We all know...To be The Man you gotta beat The Man.  You can poo poo his old style wrasslin but, Scoreboard. 16x Wooooooo

9. (Rowdy) Roddy Piper - This picture says it all really.  Piper whether it was the 80′s, 90′s or showed up in the 2000′s on RAW he entertained the hell outta me.  The guy never held the main strap either?!  He was that good, he didn't need it. He made rivalries with other wrestlers more exciting.  He may not have been the guy you went to the show for, but you left talking about him.  This is the epitome of how all wrestlers should approach a character.  Be yourself to the absolute Max!

8. Mick Foley (Mankind) - Yes, specifically Mankind. I know that may not be super popular with hipster wrassle fans but I don't give any shits. Mankind had different intro and outro ring music.  He pulled his hair out rocking back and forth while listening to classical music in the dark.  He was nice but talked like he was scared as shit.  His matches weren't the cleanest all the time but he entertained with the risk taking....to say the least.  The gimmick didn't last long but being that good as Mankind made it possible to continue in the future as Mick.

7. Booker T - 1st of all Booker is way bigger than you expect and still super athletic.  He won me over with “Hulk Hogan...WE COMIN FOR YOU NIGGA!”.  Again before you say he wouldn't be in your Top Ten, check the resume.  He should have won the WWE strap, but Triple H wasn't about to let that thing go in the early 2000′s.  Like I keep saying, its all about the entertainment.  From Harlem Heat to Spinarooni to Tagging with Goldust to King Booker.  Booker T continued to change and was consistently a Top Guy.

6. (The Game) Triple H - The guy with a nickname for ever day of the week! The Cerebral Assassin is another wrassler on this list again I feel people will disagree with.  He is a founder of DX, my favorite stable.  He may have not had a ton of memorable matches, but most he was in was above average to me.  Other wrasslers in the business consider him a ass kiss and how can they be totally wrong.  The guy is related to Vince McMahon now.  Still, he put himself in position to be one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and then pulled it off.  Bravo Hunter, I always watched more intently when you came out.

5. Kurt Angle - Kurt Angle won a Gold Medal with a broken freakin neck don't forget!  Kurt wasn't on my list when I wrote the 1st draft last year.  Over time and with careful consideration I chose to put him on.  He HAD to be on!  Angle made me laugh as much as any wrestler ever has.  He refused to swear, always talked about his achievements and was an incredible wrestler.  Whether face or heel Kurt was over with the Dr.  His title run did not last as long as it should’ve and he should have had many more!

4. (Stone Cold) Steve Austin - Stone Cold I’m sure is #1 on many many lists and it is well deserved.  He was a shell of himself wrestling wise when he became Stone Cold but his character was still tops!  He managed to have one of the greatest runs in wrestling history and helped create the best era in wrasslin history the Attitude Era!  He did this by pounding beers, flipping people off and Stunning anyone that moves because DTA (Don't Trust Anybody).  The Coldest of the Stones still could not crack the Top 3 on this list but could have easily been 2 or 3 to the Dr.

3. The Rock - Not Hollywood Dwayne, I’m all set with that guy.  I’m talking about late 90′s Sideburns Rock with $800 shirts and $1200 shoes.  The Rock that has all the chicks gawking at his strudel.  The Rock that has Michael Cole wear his merchandise on his face while interviewing The Rock.  The Rock that Layeth’s the Smacketh Downeth on all Candy/Monkey Asses.  Where he’s Corporate Rock or the People’s Champ, The Rock is without a Shadow of a Doubt the most Electrifying Wrassler in Sports Entertainment!

2. (Y2J) Chris Jericho - Chris Jericho has personally flipped me the bird more times than any other wrassler in history.  Super creative in and outside of the ring, Chris has been one of my favorite wrestlers since he arrived at WCW.  Jericho is the Madonna of wrestling.  He has changed many times while still maintaining his edge and overall character that got him over.  How many people as of late can say they are just as successful now as they were in the Attitude Era.  Just Y2J you Stupid Idiots!

(HBK) Shawn Michaels - The GOAT....The leader of DX! The Icon, the Show Stopper, the Main Eventer, Mr Wrestlemania!  Shawn Michaels, specifically 95-99 gives no fucks Michaels is my favorite ALL TIME wrestler.  Undersized but with an inflated ego and Andrew Dice Clay jokes was so over with me as a teenager.  Do I even have to write why he is number 1, you know why.  Because he’s a sexy boy, he’s not your boy toy.  As he sings his own entrance music....like I said, The GOAT!

Sooooo Hardys GONE! Drew Galloway GONE! Jade GONE! Mike & Maria Bennett GONE, GONE! El Patron takes over as El Hampi'on & Jeff Jarrett goes about doing thangs right this time. I hope they succeed because if Impact Wrasslin can start doing well the overall wrestling business will start to do better in the U.S. of Mercia!
