its essentially the concept of the CW network “sniping” gay spn things, more specifically dean reciprocating the confession afaik. (at least, thats its origin i think.) its generally used in the fandom as a broad term to mean any instance of queerness (mainly destiel) being silenced by those at the CW, or homophobia from the CW in general. its a joke term typically used in reference to information about the show that is revealed by actors or writers after the show ended
