Shapiro, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky - College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1974. Fellowship-trained in neuroradiology at Yale University, he is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Imaging and Neuroradiology.
