Is Owen dying?!
Christina's narration keeps asking "Do you know who you are? Do you know what's happened to you?" and the theme of the episode is a patient who's paralysed from the neck down and his wife (Cutthroat bitch hi!) knows he'd want the vent removed and I think Owen might be dying :(
It's not even the end of the season though :(

I used to love Bailey so so so much but she's pissing me off this season (9) with how harsh she is with everyone who was on that plane.
Also, her brand of yell at people until they become less stupid sort of(?) worked back in the first few seasons because she knew more and had greater experience, now it's just loud.
Her colleagues, people who survived a horrific trauma, deserve basic respect. Yell until everybody shuts up is just harsh, disrespectful, and bullying.
#</3#Just venting here#(i dont specifically want her to change. I want her to not be a bully.)#Anti miranda bailey

I know it's fiction and they need to generate drama for the season arc, create tension between Owen, Christina, and Derek, but that's literally not how the law works?? They weren't suing the hospital, they were suing whoever was at fault for the crash. The point was to prevent that happening to other people. I'm assuming either their lawyers screwed them or it's soap opera logic

They get married three times. He finds it appropriate, thinks it makes up for all the times they broke up before they figured themselves out.
(ao3)
The first is a compromise in the residents' locker room. A contract drawn up on a blue sticky note, the two of them in scrubs and lab coats, the sounds of the hospital wafting in, a promise to love each other even when they hate each other, to care for when they're old, smelly, and senile. A promise to never walk away. For them both, this is their true marriage.
The second is a formality, a legal certification at city hall, an exchange of vows, to cherish and to love, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer. It's a step in the direction of family, permission to check the box on the adoption form that says they're married. He's in a suit, she's in a dress she picked out of her closet. They're joyful, jubilant.
The third is an overcast morning on a ferryboat, he's chattering about how much he loves ferryboats and she's trying not to think about his hand and the surgery and the possibility that he'll never operate again.
Zola's walking round and round them, babbling, as if she's inherited his love for mornings. He wanted to bring her out here, show her a ferryboat and the sea. He likes little things like this, loves to share these moments.
"Are you okay?" he asks, concerned at her silence and preoccupation, bringing her back to the present.
"Let's get married again," she says, "Here. Right now."
For a moment, he just stares. "Here?" he asks, and she can see concern in his eyes, worry, fear, an alarm blaring something is wrong, find out what's wrong.
She smiles, "I'm happy," she says, "And I wanna marry you again. And I want us to be happy. Whatever happens."
He likes the little things, loves to celebrate. He likes spontaneity and he understands both the strength and fragility of what they have.
There's a glint in his eyes when he says, "You know most people get down on one knee to propose."
"You didn't," she teases back and watches him go to find the ferryman.
When they're standing there, laughing, Seattle in the early morning fog in the distance, she reflects how lucky they are to have found eachother. She laughs, watches the ferryman try to decide if they're cracked in the head or not, listens to Derek trying to convince him to perform the ceremony.
"I'm not a Sea-captain," he says.
Derek's smile widens, he's infectious like that, like a child, "Today you are," he says.
Meredith picks Zola up, hair and scarf swept in the chilly wind, her hand cold in his as they're pronounced husband and wife again. Half a dozen half asleep passengers cheer when they kiss and they both wish for nothing but this, this all the time.

Dr. Thomas nooo! I thought he'd be fired and Christina would wrangle him a job at Seatle Grace and then very quickly get sick of the reptile at Mayo and she'd go back too and he'd die or get killed in the S9 finale. This is so much sadder :(
#Craig thomas#Christina yang#Greys anatomy#^ can you tell ive lost all faith in the show at this point
