I genuinely don’t understand why everyone is blowing up about Toms tweet.

Listen when apex legends first came out we had a roster of 8 legends. When the fan base grew and more players started coming up that’s when the lore came in. Bloodhound got confirmed to be non binary and later gibby being gay. When season 5 came out we got Loba. Her sexuality wasn’t confirmed until about a week or so later. No one questioned wether or not if she was apart of the LGBT community. When that got announced everyone is happy, more representation is always good.

Season 8 we had fuse to be pan. Awesome and now that we have a good group of LGBT characters everyone just automatically assumes someone is apart if it. Sure it’s good to have your head canons and ideas. But please when a character gets confirmed to be straight....why are we mad? Why are getting mad at a writer for doing their job? When writing a character you put life into them, including sexuality. I’ve seen multiple posts about “no way he’s straight” or “she can’t be straight” and why not?

I’m not being mean but this is a stretch. Not saying that we can’t have more lgbt legends but still come on guys.

personal problems with the story at hand aside, this was SUCH a fucking shit way to resolve the conflict. it was presented in game, as voice lines, then in the first comic, then IMMEDIATELY resolved ??? reminds me of the entire revenant head thing being 'resolved' as a twitter video after so much build up. this game's scattered lore is making the execution suffer and its actually awful
