While I’m sure many Bandcamp links are now dead and many Youtube videos long-since deleted I hope that this little archive might be of some use to those of you who are fond of the Long Note.

If you followed me when this blog was active and are checking back, hello! The small community we formed meant a lot to me, particularly in those formative years when I struggled to find fellow musicians or music lovers who regarded the music I enjoyed as anything better than an awful din. Oaken Palace Records

Oaken Palace Records is a drone record label which is run as a registered UK charity. Each release is dedicated to a particular endangered species, and once costs are covered for each sustainably-produced, recycled-packagingly-packaged recording, all profits go to environmental organisations protecting that species/its habitat.

Latest release is a great split tape by Hellvete and Bear Bones, Lay Low. More than half are gone, so anyone who buys one is giving their money straight to help the Radiated Tortoise. They can live to 188 years old so they probably love drone music.
