Marie’s lore is that she has a degree in mechanical engineering but decides to absolutely waste it by quitting her job at Joja’s engineering division. During college, she’s had more than a few failed and fucked up relationships and since then she’s become jaded. She moved to Stardew Valley because she lost a bet.

Marie’s really blunt and comes off as rude for sure, especially since her love language is hardcore teasing. She’s a chaotic handful as well, especially since she’s incredibly cunning and can outsmart most people in pelican town. At the end of the day though, she does it for the jokes, the goofs, the silliness.

Anyways girlboss in stem meets boyfailure in humanities and it’s all over from there. (She marries Elliott)
