Her eyes fixed on the open collar of his shirt, where the curly hairs showed, bleached gold against his sunburnt skin. “Are you—you’re Jamie Fraser, aren’t you?” He glanced sharply at her face. “I am,” he said.

I understand how the delay in S3 premiere would throw off promo/PR plans. Curious to know what you think from a business pov why the OL/Starz/LG SM/PR team failed to "capitalize" on Lin MM & his wife's adorable tweets about OL. They were so organic - perfect to keep some interest during hiatus. LMM would also have a following that is the right target to attract new subscribers. Perhaps instead of the IW, these are the accounts Starz/LG should encourage their leads to interact with?

I doubt they are paying attention.  American Gods is premiering soon and they are also readying other programs. 

It’s not the way it should be done but at this point, it is what it is.  There is so much more they could be doing to engage fans that takes very little time or money but something tells me they don’t have the resources and they certainly don’t seem to have the strategy to make up for the S3 delay.  Right now their strategy is not only silence but with the double-locked chastity belt on any spoilers, it’s deliberate silence.

Lin-Manuel is considered as hot as hot comes right now so just the tweets from him and the Mrs. likely got enough of his followers’ attention.  It was organic which holds more credibility.

You cannot compare any intergalactic interaction with PR. That’s just…special.

Im loving SA!

Are you surprised w/ the amount of SC we've gotten in SA? I know it's out of their control being spotted in a mall. And the group hike is no biggie at all. But so soon after the MM push...odd yeah? I'm trying to make more sense out of how BTS works. Maybe I'm focusing on wrong stuff. Maybe in SA SC simply don't care considering all these sightings can be explained away anyway-sort of ;-). It seems like the game's played when it has to be (GA/LA). In between/the rest of the time? Not so much.

Your last two sentences are where I’m sitting. Their trip to the U.S. felt like an exercise in going balls-to-the-wall cramming in photo ops, appearances and sightings to keep that separate private lives narrative going strong. The sightings in S.A. are actually seem less suspicious to me than the lack of sightings everywhere else on the GD planet for two people who are supposedly good, close friends. But the further they are from Ground Zero and corporate headquarters, executives, prying eyes and *cough* significant others, the more space they magically seem to have to breathe and just be. Interesting, isn’t it?
