I still can't believe it, but I GOT THE INTERNSHIP!! I'm going to spend this August learning at my country's academy of sciences and with my lab partner at that (honestly, I wouldn't have been brave enough to do this without her, bless this girl). We met up with our mentor for the first time today and he seems great - I mean, he told us he has four cats, of course he's great...

When I say I quite possibly am capable of murder right now, I mean it, so fucking listen.

A driver called the police because a young, 18 y/o black girl was barefoot, crying, walking around. Her name is Nekia Trigg.

This should’ve been a safe option to help a young girl in a clearly bad mental state. That cops should have helped her back home. Should have helped her find her family.

But since cops have been widely proven to be disgusting fucking bastards, the pig of an officer that was sent didn’t help her.

I’ll walk you through what he did instead:

He grabs her by the arm, demanding she tell him why she was crying.

He puts her in handcuffs for saying she was in pain because of his grip.

He forces her onto the ground under him.

He straddles her, and presses himself to this 18 y/o girl who did nothing but express pain.

And he ignores her saying she couldn’t breath.

That woman reaching towards her is her mother, trying to comfort her while a grown main laid face down on top of her, his legs on either side of her hips: she’s trying to help her breath, since, you know, she was screaming she couldn’t because she is a teenager with a fully grown man sitting on her.

She’s alive, but she’s still traumatized. She was still assaulted. Justice for Nekia Trigg.
