The Masked Rogue

First attempt at a coloured portrait of Link from my upcoming original legend The Masked Rogue. This would be the outfit he dons as the masked rogue in question, stealing from the rich to give to the poor.

Idk how many of you are familiar with a “Roper Romp” but I’m hanging out having lunch at a bar and 50 people dressed as Helen Roper walked in and got drinks. They are singing along to the sorta metal music (we went from Bon Jovi to Blue Oyster Cult) and it’s just chaos. It’s amazing. Peak con experience.

ETA: Kratos from god of war appears to be chatting up several Helens. I love cons

Me, wandering the gas lamp district in San Diego during Comic con and spotting a guy wearing an odd yet familiar set of horns on his hat.

“Hey is that a silver lizalfos horn?”

It was, I don’t think I’ve ever made anyone happier. I was the first to call it.

I met Sonia and Zelda and they gave me a gift. Trinket trading isn’t a big deal on the west coast, so they were excited to get fairy bottles in return

Today I am Ocarina of Time Link and my four foot Megaton hammer couldn’t make the trip, so I have a plush cucco under one arm and that thing is a hit

Here’s a positive fandom interaction. I’m at San Diego Comic Con. Last year I was here and I frequented a Mexican place because it was good and their AC was spectacular. I struck up a conversation with a waiter about Zelda on the day I was Link and gave him a fairy bottle.

I just sat down at the same place, food is still good. AC still spectacular. I’m wearing a different Link. The same waiter spotted me and told me he still has that bottle.
