so many people around me are going sober (or mostly sober) and while obviously i support them… i just can’t do it. i need alcohol or weed to numb the pain. feeling my emotions sober overwhelms me and puts me in a DARK place. a place i don’t like being. a place that turns me into a hopeless depressed nihilist.
