remember that this camp is made of tents, not buildings. this strike was dropped directly on families in the dead of night, with no shelter to protect them. many people have become trapped by the burning tents. we don't have a death toll yet, but it's likely more than 50.

How a post about the possibility of a show going on forever and a comment underneath about how "everyone would want to keep their show running forever given the chance" can degenerate.

A simple "not everyone would... sometimes people just plan a start and finish point and then move on, knowing when to stop is an important skill for creatives" get met with:

"Sounds like you never created anything" "It's commerce" "you are not an artist because you were never broke, became rich and wanted to keep making money and not go broke again" "you are a rich kid playing as an artist" "if you say 'an artist know when to stop' you never struggled" "what truth is in your art if you never struggled?"

Never have I seen such levels of gatekeeping cringe and backward thinking in my life... I usually hate posting these sorts of things, especially since I'm a nobody screaming at the wind, but know what? I want to scream at the wind right now.

The wilds assumption of one's personal life, the reduction of suffering and struggle to ONLY financial struggling, ignoring real issues for artists like burnout or not believing that a creative mind would not want to work on the same project for all their life and instead make different projects and experiment new things... I am kind of surprised to hear that there are people surprised/upset of the "reveal" that Marika apparently has smaller chest from the new trailer, when it was ALREADY plain:

I can't even give benefit of the doubt that there was some sort of optical confusion in her intro, because even with 0 closer looks into models, her chest still doesn't look that big ;-; It is safer to assume that the guys who were "shocked" forgor what her model looked like after 3 seconds and internalised their big tiddy vision as a mental image until reality showed up again :pensive:
