I want Tegan to play nicely with other people's ocs but it always feels like introducing a dog that's a bite risk, so this happened. Belly rubs are ill advised.

“Raw umber” Daniel had explained. With touches of either light sky blue or soft green. Earthy and warm. Distant mutterings of contrast and compliment and pastel versus…something. Flitted in and out of Richard’s head, making no small portion of him wish Danny was there in the room with him.

Daniel, who hadn’t shown him his own suit, but which Richard knew was in a beautiful blue indigo. Daniel’s thoughts had swirled and swarmed around the color all week.

grabbing my head in agony if i think about dina and the desperate need to belong too much. the clawing desire to know someone when you have the power to peel through peoples' Selves like it's nothing. Still feeling like the outsider the interloper... the solution is Definitely the rejection of the physical body and the creation of one uniform human conscious with the souls of every living person btw ❤️

All of them are staring at him, but Beaumont ignores them to tie his hair up, staring at his reflection in the glass. He can see Sidestep’s face from the window, watching him intently. He didn’t realize how damn young he was. His own reflection holds nothing but exhaustion, circles under his eyes, his expression flat and blank in a way that Sidestep doesn’t share. Sidestep still carries that spark, determination in his every movement.

“What happened to you?” Sidestep asks, apparently thinking the same thing. Stupid telepaths. “I mean, you look like…”

“Like I died?” Beaumont says casually.

something about the constant reassertion that sidestep is dead. something about the constant pressure from the people in their life for sidestep to return to being Sidestep. something about never being able to shake your own dead body & something about everyone trying to kill you again
