Hello, hello, hello! Mod Char here!

So! Just teeny update, we have all PoV singers!

We've also made a demo for Song Two, "My Son," of Shatter Wings, Phil's musical! I'm still working on writing lyrics and figuring out different melodies and instruments for everyone.

Char again, I forgot that the characters will have different environments within their own songs! November 16th will have different angles and volumes of things from the festival! Like tubbos death could be dead silent on tubbos end for a good bit while technos view could have an overwhelming amount of the voices shouting for him while tommy is on a cliff i think? So things would be quieter and ten times worse, along with veing able to be highlighted by like different musical tempos and stuff. Or sound effects such as a heart beat. Either way! Creative ways! And phil's nov. 16th gets to start off in The Room too, so thats another angle!

Mod Char here! I wanted to put a few things out.

So! Theres no set timeline yet. I'm thinking of including before the caravan, like BEFORE that man joins.

...but also, eh. All that I deem very important- and correct me if im wrong ive only seen the first 2 and a half vods and then after logsted- is the first bit of the discs.

Which makes it hard to make a starting point nut also. Its not that peaceful actually, but those actions go against either personal rules of my own boundaries or the actual life system.

....which makes it harder. Especially for a tommy-centric one to be the first one.

And then theres the shared moments, how are those gonna differ? My main inspiration for this is from EPIC the Musical and I wanna follow that lead. Not much of thoughts or sequillies [i dont think thats the spelling but oh well] will be sang, more of the singers will have [hopefully] raw emotions. But, that comes with the fact that shared moments across the different shots- November 16th, for an example- will have identical ones? Or should I change up things lyrically???? But then my plan for it falls??????

There is. A lot more problems with my plans right now. I'll take any and all feed back on this rn, all i know how to proper do is just lyrics. And storytelling. Ive made 4 unique genloss lyrics but. Uh. Yeah.

Welcome to the SMP

Welcome home, Theseus!

We are making a Dream SMP musical; that's a lie, woops, we're making 5!

The main one making the lyrics may end up crashing and burning this project, though, so don't entirely count on it!

We're making 5 total musicals; Tommy, Tubbo, Dream, Philza, and Technoblade. This will take many years to complete all 5 on our own, but we're always happy for some kind of help!

Have an interpretation on a character and you want to tell us? Send an ask! Even if you're nervous, you can anon it. The Dream SMP is just Minecraft Blockmen in this context!

"Oh, this person did this and this person did that!" We get it. We're including all lore important people, this is a muscial about the canon characters and not the content creators.

@charbeloved is the creator and mod here on the blog, and a major Dream SMP fan. Char joined the fandom late into TommyInnit's second exile and has since taken up rewatching Tommy's PoV in it's entirety. She's a fanartist, Ao3 writer, and fansong enthusiast. She went from watching Tommy, to Techno, to both Techno and Ranboo, and now occasionally watches Tubbo and Ranboo from time to time to check up on them. Making a musical has always been a want for them, and considering she knows the lore like the back of her hand? They're very excited to start this whole thing.

@naris-606 is a friend of Char's and an admin, lyric helper, and singer. Nari has been part of the DSMP fandom since the red festival where they watched it live from Techno's perspective. From that point on they watched all the way up to the end of Techno's run. And since then they've watched multiple theories, fan works, summaries, everything they could get their hands on fan content wise. They've cosplayed Techno more times than they can remember, and are so very honored to be part of this project.

I want white flags! While flags, outside your base, by tomorrow, at dawn, or you are dead!

Each muscial will follow the same eras, the same amount of songs with a few taken out for what they genuinely missed. The longest saga will be Dream's and the shortest will be Philza's.

As none of us are actually linked with the Dream SMP, no links to any big MCYTs either, this is entirely based on Char's take on the SMP with motovations and different input from others!

We welcome people who source from any character to come join us, be it a PoV sourcing such as someone who's got a bit of a Delusional Attachment to c!Tommy or more of a minor source, such as someone who's got an alter of c!Quackity!

**In our starting team, we have a person who DAs c!Tommy. Any kind of sourcing is valid, be it just memories or entire personas. As long as you are not actively trying to impersonate anyone.
