The whole finale and the Poppy storyline would've been so so much better if she was Ruby's. Like sure, Ruby's a little young for motherhood, but Ruby's whole story arc is about babies! We first meet her trying to save a baby she just met! She loved the original Space Babies!Poppy! And, most glaringly, The Doctor and Ruby got called Mummy and Daddy by that Poppy, and The Doctor literally said "I wish we were".

And, if Ruby was in Belinda's role in that two parter, Mel, the one companion who canonically has a photographic memory, could be the one person who remembers things no-one else does? Which would both make more sense and wouldn't involve hiring Bonnie Langford just to have her do absolutely nothing??

What on earth went wrong behind the scenes. And why did Belinda have to take the brunt of it.

This entire era was just rtd doing nostalgia bait for his previous era without actually bothering with a proper plot. Bringing back legacy characters can absolutely be done well and has been in the past, but here is really just felt like it was overshadowing the doctor. And I’m sure 15 will get overshadowed by a lot of fans because rtd had tennant before him and Billie piper after him. Both are good actors who played well liked characters, but they aren’t the entire show, they are not more important to doctor who canon than everyone else. Can’t we just take the time to appreciate a new actor who was delightful in the role of the doctor

Not to mention the racism of it all, rtd has a track record of sidelining his characters of color, and unsurprisingly he did it this time too. Ncuti was the first black doctor and him and Belinda were the first fully nonwhite tardis team, and yet we had so many doctor lite stories and Belinda’s characterization was basically forgotten in favor of focusing on the white companion from last season

something so. everyone saw tommy in exile and felt bad for him but the most anyone did was visit and get him a little present. no one tried to genuinely help/save him. they were too scared of dream. then wilbur is revived. says that if he had been there, if his pathetic ghost hadnt, he would have killed dream for what he did to tommy, and this is before he Truly knows what dream did to tommy. and remembering that when wilbur was alive, he was the main reason that everyone fought against dream in a serious way instead of taking his shit. cut to las nevadas where tommy is telling quackity that he won't be joining las nevadas, the main point he gives being "wilbur gets things done" do you understand

Hi dsmp fans! Were you a fan of the dteam but no longer watch them because reasons? May I suggest Boosfer? He's vibes and nothing major has happened with him. Also Kier and Dev are great, and the three create fun manhunt content that's about ten times better than the dteam ever did. This twists are always fun as well.
