Documentary about young entrepreneurs
I have had a few friends ask me if i ever saw that show on hbo ? Called silicon valley .... I have seen an episode .. but I dunno, i rarely watch television. I'm sure its funny, but im not really interested. I enjoy movies, but really don't have the time to watch TV. That said, it reminds me of a film that is much more interesting to watch. Check this out. In my opinion this is a much better representation of what silicon valley is all about.
What i enjoyed most about this film was that it inspired me to stay on my current path no matter the outcome. It's likely a lot of people in my life don't understand what i do, or why i am where i am in life. If any of you are reading this and are curious, this film pretty much sums it all up.

Just one of my design projects from way way back in the day.
I thought id at least share something today that illustrates what i do. Growing up, i was that kid in high school that liked to draw all over my notebooks in math class. For the longest time i thought i was going to pursue illustration, and still love to do art whenever possible. I started out that way, working for a printing company for a long time through art school. Kind of ironic that i would wind up getting involved in web development and more recently UX design having never really liked anything to do with math, calculating numbers or writing code?! ;P
In a lot of ways, i see UX design as a new genre of art. I was really excited to have the ability to make art interactive. It is still art, and i try to keep that in mind whenever i'm working on a new UX design.

Why now?
I know i have another tumblr account somewhere ... but i thought it was time to setup something new ... i realized that i'd like to have a place to put down my thoughts, ideas and art up, but without having to revisit what i was thinking back then ... need a fresh start ... so with that ... cheers ... talk soon
