3 up 3 down. Third landed behind us on dry land, dad always hits the straight on top shots that I can never hit!

My all-time favorite video. Remember I said I had a blind best friend? Listen to him say, “They’re going the other way.” Followed by me saying, “Go!” They were in fact coming straight at us, and we all knew that except for Ethan. Also, I crushed that first teal and Ethan redeemed himself with his last shot.

With everything frozen solid we improvised. I’m just glad they didn’t video the 500 missed attempts it took for me to actually catch the duck.

Here’s a redemption video since I feel bad about my first post. Great shot from Ethan that my dad and I didn’t even attempt. Also, we fist bumped before the duck even touched the water.

Duck season starts now. This was opening weekend last year in Louisiana with our dog Cash. Unfortunately Cash got bit by a snake this summer. He was two years old and just started to really figure out retrieving. While a lot of hunters don’t hunt the early teal season, I love it as much as the regular season. Football is on, and it’s time to start hunting hard and to chase some teal.

The best hunt I’ve ever been on. Opening day 2022. Got our limit, took some pictures, and got out of there so we could hunt the next morning. Canvasback was a first for any of us, so we were all on top of the world that morning.
