Ducky (And more!) Archive!

As you might have noticed; we've been quite inactive on many of our BAH accounts recently even going on hiatus, and some of you may wonder as to why this is

We have been working on putting together archives of all of our packs! We have both a Rentry site, and a Simply Plural account for these purposes.

As of current, the Rentry site poses as more a masterlist than anything else, though we will be adding in pack information eventually! The Rentry site may be organised into a masterlist and multiple linked pages for organisation by media and source later on, though at this point the focus is just getting the information down!

The Simply Plural account is made to archive all packs we have made, from all of our accounts (that's over a hundred and fifty packs!). It will take much longer than the Rentry will, however it will be more organised as Simply Plural has quite a few specific features that work in our favor!

If you are interested in either of these archives, the Rentry site is linked here, and the Simply Plural account is @JestingBAH-chive, they will both be listed in our pinned post for ease of access!

We will be coming back and opening up requests again once we are closer to completing this goal, but for now we are likely to remain on a hiatus for at least a few weeks!

Not a request, but we are relatively new to all of this stuff and wanted to ask what alter packs were specifically used for? we are . very autistic and dont get things from just looking at them LMAO

i get the vague idea like. helping out fragments with their identity but from what ive seen theres like different ways to use these??? you guys seem cool so i just thought id ask you because im confused lmao. your posts look well formatted though!

We are sleepy so apologies if we do not explain well

We personally use it to help fragments form mostly (as you understood), in our case our fragments tend to be very impressionable so a matter of exposing them to material or information can help them form further in many cases for us.

For example, sometimes someone in our system, such as Bee, will find a fragment and just talk to them about the information provided in the pack (or about a character that Bee likes) and the fragment tends to latch onto the personality and traits provided. So in our case it tends to be a bit more of a mix of luck, and desire, the fragment has to want to develop that way in many cases for us, as many of our fragments are partially developed rather than blank slates.

Some other systems keep the personality or traits in mind and focus on them frequently, simply hoping that the next headmate to form or split forms according to those traits.

There are also created system, who may build up the barriers themself and "separate consciousness" more manually which can take more work for them, for more information regarding this particular option we would recommend to look into "Tulpamancy" and "Willomancy", though "TransPlural tips" are also likely to help with this option.

Some alters request for themselves as well for various reasons, we have a few introjects who have requested and used packs for a sort of source separation and to further their individuality

We hope this explanation makes sense (ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ )
