i really really want to take my flared jeans and turn them into bell bottoms. the thing is, if i ruin them i’ll be ruining one of my fav pairs of pants. and i probably will ruin them bc i don’t have much experience with sewing. but like they’re just a pair of pants so if i ruin them life will go on and i’ll probably make something else out of them. i’m not home rn but when i am ill post the jeans and the goal and probably start hacking away free handed. i already have the fabric i’d use(aka curtains from goodwill)

I wanted to get back into sewing(which i’m already very new at) with something simple! so here’s the stocking i made for my cat🙂‍↕️🫶

i actually wanted to make his little portrait out of fabric scraps and sew it on BUT i realized too late that i should’ve done that before putting the whole thing together, because it’s really too small to maneuver it enough to sew it in now, so i painted him instead. just more of me understanding the concept of layers and steps in order🙈

good news: i fixed my sewing machine! bought a new needle for it and now when it jams(im still learning so it does that a lot😓) i stop and fix it instead of forcing it lesson learned. but now i can sew again!!!!
