"Honestly, you're preaching to the choir here, because I think I've been chasing for far too long and if it hasn't happened yet I should just move on to someone that's just a lot more receptive." Ducky mentioned wanting to just be rid of this silly little lifetime crush. "Part of six, and I'm just so excited, I can't believe it...I mean I definitely can cause duh, I'm just so happy for you Mack. You're such an amazing mom as it is, your next baby is going to be so lucky," he mused. "I definitely am, and get ready for when Wicked comes out cause all your children will be belting defying gravity after I take them to the movies,"

Playing coy, Mack just shrugged, before adding, "I mean I love Ethan and would go to the ends of the earth for that man. But sometimes him, and men in general don't always get the hint." She confessed adding in another shrug, then as he put the pieces together of what she had jist told him, her grin grew wide, as she hugged him back. "Sure does, Hoffman party of six coming soon," she chuckled before motioning for him to slow down, "it's way too early to find out what baby is and we will probably find out, but may not tell everyone. I'd have to talk to Ethan on that." She smiled and her cheeks started to burn from it, "no names yet, since we don't know what if it'll be a boy or girl, and I haven't even started thinking about the shower," laughing out loud, "Yes of course hun, you can be the fairy godmother. "I offered you a place to live but you want to live on a boat, it's like you're sinbad and I'm supposed to chase after you all the time," Ducky groaned before letting it all fade into a laugh. "What else would I have to talk about to strangers then if not my best friend's double decker cakes?" he grinned, as he threw his arms up in defeat. "Thank you future working husband, I'll take my piece and eat it happily. Also you know how difficult it is to get the measurements of flavors for this? It was trial and error just so I could make sure I had this one time." Ducky sighed not wanting to be reminded of how his kitchen was a total mess due to this. "It is good, but you're simply cuter when your face is delicious, and hey dolores thinks we're a fine couple. She's even rooting for our love story to unfold, sadly she'll never get that happy ending. Besides me being an upstanding citizen I've been going through auditions of people wanting to be voice actors on my new animated show. There's some very strong candidates, and I'm wondering...would you be interested in working?"

"Now, now. I'm kindly inviting you into my boat and you're just being plain offensive," he said, shaking his head, trying to hide his amusement. "Don't talk to strangers about my ass, thank you", he added with a laugh before taking the knife to start cutting before he was suddenly deemed as part of the cake. He gave a side eye to Ducky and decided not to comment as he cut two pieces out of the cake and put them on plates. He picked one up and gave to Ducky. "Here you go, for all your housewife troubles," he said with a smile. "Now, it better be good." He took a bite before looking at Ducky, nodding with appreciation. "For your information, I don't drink coffee." Ducky mused as he looked over at Simon, his eyes locking onto the man. "I'm just hungry, but fine I guess you have to be in a hurry if you're whispering in my ear seductively at this time of day." stepping up to the counter he simply ordered one of every pastry before pointing that he'd be paying for whatever the guy behind him wanted. "Cause I made you wait I got your bill, whatever your name is sir should be in a vampire movie."

Simon walked into the café, his usual air of self-assuredness practically radiating off him. He was here for one thing and one thing only: coffee. As often, he was in some kind of a hurry, but as he approached the counter, he realised that while there was no queue, some guy was in front of him, taking his sweet time deciding as if choosing between a croissant or a muffin was the most important decision of his life.

With a huff of impatience, Simon leaned against the counter, making no effort to be subtle about it. "You know," he said loud enough to ensure he could hear, "if you're going to have an existential crisis over a muffin, maybe it's time to take a break from caffeine."

"There's plenty good here, but I'm just reading over the ingredients and some are very interesting." Ducky mentioned as he placed a few things back. "I could see myself snacking on some of these honestly, so I'm not surprised they have such good reception. But I could do without the one guy trying to get me to kiss him just because he's carrying around a mistletoe."

Riley and Ducky were working at the food pantry, packing boxes and stacking shelves with canned goods. The place was busy with other volunteers, and Riley liked the energy in the room—it felt good knowing they were all pitching in together.

As Riley added a few cans of soup to one of the boxes, they glanced over at Ducky, who seemed to be studying each label like it was some mystery novel. “Find anything good over there?” Riley asked with a smile.

"I think we both have very different versions of reality if you think your ass is anything besides pancakes," Ducky teased shooting his best friend a wink. "Well, she said this all for just a best friend was a lot, and I was like no it's not. He's my entire world, plus he's hot and funny, like what a combo. Then I told her about your pancakes and she understood why we're not married. Your lack of squats is truly noticeable," He said with a laugh as he coiled his arms around Andy. "You cut it open, I've done far too much housewife work today, and wait a minute," he mused before taking a little bit of mint green frosting and dabbing it on Andy's nose. "There's now it's perfect." smiling up at Andy, his eyes wandered a towards his lips before he took a breath. "I'll always be proud of you,"

This new milestone was still bittersweet at Andy's ears, knowing he should've been celebrating a bigger one. And even though his therapist and sponsors had told him there was no "should" that stood in this situation. He smiled at Ducky's cake that looked absolutely delicious. "Thanks." He couldn't help but laugh at the mention of the cookie. "Well I can't wait to see that. Although I'm a little offended that the fat ass is just because of extra dough and not an accurate representation of reality," he said, shaking his head. "Poor lady, what has she done to you?" He replied, laughing. His smile softened at Ducky's words. "Thanks, again. It means a lot." And it really did. He stood up to grab some plates and spoons. "Now let's try this cake before it melts." @duckysgoncalves

"Sometimes?" Ducky huffed raising a brow at his friend before wondering what exactly it was that she was hiding. As the words processed and hit him his hands flew to his mouth as he stared back at Mack. Then he yelled, "Oh my god Mack!" Hugging her gently before being entirely too excited. "This just means I can add another little gremlin to my army of chaos." he giggled. "Are we waiting, or do we know, what are we expecting? When's the shower? Any names picked out, can I be the fairy godmother?" he said as he shot off countless questions in sheer excitement.

"Ah I see," she nodded, coming around from the other side of the counter to sit next to Ducky. "Sometimes guys can be oblivious," she teased, between her brothers, her husband, and even her sons, she had been around enough of them to know and understand. She chuckled a bit and shrugged, apologizing a bit, "sorry. And that's exact one I mean, the sexiest ER nurse at that hospital. I was going to say a little birdie told me he's going to be a dad again." She grinned before elbowing him, "my little army of chaos is about to get more chaotic." @duckysgoncalves

"You're right, as per usual. His friendship is the most important aspect of our relationship. He makes me tear up from laughing, I love his hugs, playing with his hair, hate that he lives on a boat and I constantly have to take Dramamine to not die there. Still, I wouldn't change a thing." Ducky mused smiling at the thought of his best friends. "Kind of? They're like the make and model of dumb." he laughed. "Oh I'm only male adjacent, I identify as a very attractive headache. So next time just smooch him?"

Courtney frowned slightly, and though she didn't exactly know how it felt, she understood it. "You never know, but that's true. At least you're friends with him, which is important too." She nodded, reaching out to squeeze his shoulder gently, always there to help support her friend. "Oh, I mean sometimes guys really are kinda dumb," she shrugged before chuckling, "sorry." She laughed, as obviously Ducky was a guy too, but still. "Definitely put yourself out there. You never know until you try!!" @duckysgoncalves

"Oh Ricky, just know that in another universe you're mine entirely," Ducky teased, making heart shapes in the air with his fingers and aiming them at Ricky. "Thank god, and I'm sure you ordered my favorite, but sadly you're not on the menu, woe is me." he sighed, giggling slightly because he was just so used to play flirting with Ricky. "Honestly, I think it's because it's a lot of sudden change for him, and he doesn't know how to take it. I'll try to help him out as much as I can, but there's only so much I can do, but he'll be fine, he's a big boy."

"Damn, now I feel like a slut cause I've definitely cuddled with more than my fair share of guys," Ducky teased before shooting him a wink. "Although you're definitely my favorite, from my crush to a bestie who would've thought."

Ricky grinned at Ducky as the other sat down, the string of compliments causing his cheeks to pinken up. "Ducky, not in public," he teased, though it was all in good fun from both parties involved. "Pizza should be out soon, by the way," he nodded towards the counter, his stomach rumbling at the wame time. "Yeah, I didn't think he'd freak out so much. I feel terrible, and also I didn't do it to hurt him. The moving out or the engagement," he sighed though he was truly happy with being with Alina, it still hurt that his friend was upset.

"Of course I missed you, you kidding? You and Tyler are the only guys I think I've ever cuddled with," he shook his head, a laugh escaping his lips.

"He's not aware I like him like that, but it's a little obvious. It's sickening how much I follow him around like a love sick puppy, I kind of hate it." Ducky mentioned knowing full well how he acted around Andy. "Damn, you can't get my hopes up with a hot guy and then say he's taken Mack, that's cruel and unusual punishment. Unless you mean your man then of course he's taken, by none other than you. Also how are my little gremlins, my little army of chaos?"

"Hm," she hummed and put the bowl of fruit back into the fridge before turning back to Ducky. She had been planning on telling him the news, but wanted to drag it out, find out how he's been first. "Oh, so you've known him your whole life and he doesn't know you?" She asked, a little skeptical but then again to each their own regarding who they let in versus who they didn't. "I guess you can call it tea," she shrugged and sipped on her water, "but it's about a sexy emergency room nurse not a firefighter. But he's taken already." @duckysgoncalves

"Ricky ticky tang, the man, the legend, the best looking guy around for miles." Ducky giggled as he threw a slurry of compliments at his friend, sitting down at the table, pretty much starving and craving nothing more than a good slice of pizza, or the whole box. "Oh you know it's going okay, trying to keep Tyler from going defcon 5, and also I'm so happy for you and your lady. About damn time if I say so myself,"

"Hey man," Ricky said as he got up from his seat at the table he was waiting at. He had grabbed a soda to drink while waiting for their pizza which he had ordered right before the other arrived. "How's it going?" He asked as he motioned for the other to sit, "I already ordered for us," he replied as he sat back down himself.

"Doubtful, he's had many romances and I've never been a single one, and I don't think I've ever been an option for him. That's fine, my friendship with him is more important than being with him," Ducky shrugged feeling a little defeated about the whole Andy situation and knowing that probably wasn't going anywhere. "I think I've given too many obvious hints, like that Kim Kardashian meme." he sighed. "Not really, I've been sort of blinded all this time, so maybe I should put myself out there."

Her cheeks pinkened up as she hid her face for a moment, getting lost in the thoughts of Cohen just as Ducky had described. But then she raised an eyebrow at him, "maybe he feels the same. Like how would you know or he know unless you told him!?" She asked, almost dreaming of a romcom like situation with Ducky and this mystery guy. "Ughh Ducky you gotta try! You'll never know until you do. And I know, any others catch your eye?" @duckysgoncalves

"Here's to my favorite guy in the whole fucking world," Ducky said as he brought out the mint chocolate chip ice cream cake he'd made to celebrate his best friend and his triumphs. "Happy 5 months," he mused as he kissed Andy's cheek and pulled on the string and a little firework popped, spreading paper confetti on the floor. "There's also you as doodlebob at the conservatory, with your luscious hair and a big fat ass..I had extra dough. But yes it's a cookie...your favorite kind because I know you too well." he laughed. "By the way I had to convince the lady at the supermarket that you're not my boyfriend because she was like all this for a friend? Best friend, I corrected her, and then I told her I wanted to have your babies to confuse her even more." Ducky said with a smile as he recounted the story, before his features softened once more and he kissed the top of Andy's head. "I'm so proud of you." @aindreisblythe

"I understand," Ducky nodded as he knew Tyler needed time to process everything he was going through at the moment. Rolling his eyes at the comment, he scoffed at whatever it was that Tyler could've been drinking and simply handed him a bottle of water. "Please, for me." he barked a laugh at his little dig, and scrunched up his features. "You'd be surprised how very little hair there was on my body to begin with, but yes everything is smooth, and I'd get you a tv because I have too much money that I don't really know what to do with. Of course I can't spend all of it, but I like to help out my friends." He shrugged as if it was no big deal. "Ty, you'll be the one who has to stay with the broken living room anyway so you'd be hurting yourself only." He sighed. "Fine, I guess I'll just have to do something else for you to help you relieve stress."

He sighed. "Just for now, okay" he wasn't in the mood right now. He normally mess around and flirt back with Ducky but today he wasn't feeling it. "I have something" and it wasn't water what he had been drinking the other day but today he did have some of it. "Even up your crack?" he teased as he watched the other for a moment. "Why would you get me TV if I broke it?" he said as he found that odd but he take a new TV. "Maybe I should break the living room and give Ricky a good... goodbye," he joked as the living room was one they went in on friends to have a nicer one for them to use. "I'm sure you said I do in the womb, Courtney. Well with how he treats you, and with his face, smile, and washboard abs I really can't blame you." Ducky was extremely happy for Courtney, a love story like that was rare, and he hoped he'd have something similar, but if not then maybe something half as good would be enough. "Know, absolutely the fuck not. I mean I flirt with him, but I don't think he could ever feel the same. He's just such a great guy and I love his sense of humor which is pretty much the same as mine. Like he makes me want to cook and clean for him which is wild. But you know I'm always open to the options in town."

"I mean I didn't say 'I do' until I was twenty one, but I knew the day I met him that I'd be marrying him," she turned to face him. Nodding, she understood that her and Cohen's love story wasn't the norm and that people always dreamed of the one they had. "I'm sure you'll meet your happily ever after one day," her brow furrowing slightly, "and you never know. Have you ever told him how you felt?" She played with an errant string on her jeans, "or do you have your eye on any? Maybe I could help? Be like your wing woman or something." @duckysgoncalves

"New? Not really, I've been pretty good recently. Unless you mean Andy, he's not new I've known him my entire life and almost afterlife. Kinda wish he knew my insides though," Ducky shrugged, eating a few of the children's snacks he'd been used to indulge on whilst at Mack's home. "Wait, you have tea to spill? Is it juicy? Is there a hot fireman in need of a little zesty author?"

"So, any one new in your life?" Mack as she popped a piece of fruit into her mouth while leaning on the island in her kitchen. She had asked Ducky if he wanted to hang out before he babysat for the kids while she went on shift and before Ethan got home. Plus she hadn't told him of the news yet. "Because I definitely have someone for you," she grinned a bit and took a sip from her water bottle.

"Fine," Ducky rolled his eyes in response as he finally had something to keep him busy and give Tyler a home cooked meal. "Sorry, I'll behave, and I know Ty," coming closer he placed a hand on Tyler's cheek letting his thumb caress his skin. "I'm here for you, but just make sure you're also drinking water when you're gaming." he instructed before making a face at how Tyler was pretty much just having tv dinner and muffins since the breakup. "Lasered off so doubtful, but anyway I'll get started on cooking for you." he giggled. "I'd get you a new one, but that doesn't mean you should just go ahead and break this one. Also how's about we play a fighting game later and place some bets?"

Tyler sighed, "Shut up." He said he didn't mean it in a mean way; he was just feeling annoyed. "Just a little I am still really not in the mood for your antics" it was to much for him, right now with his mood. "I am just stuck on my past." he had one good thing he kept in his life and wanted still. He did his best to try and let it go for now and enjoy his time with his friend. "I don't care what you make" it could be mac and cheese and he would eat it. "I've had hungry man TV dinners and muffins the past few days, so whatever." he knew it wasn't a good thing. "I do, you said I do and then he swept you away." Ducky sighed, but he would always be extremely happy for his friend. "Sort of same for me, maybe not that small but I've thought about him that way since I was a kid, but it'll never happen so I just you know do what I do best." Not providing any further information, he just looked up at the sky and smiled. "If you go to the observatory you'll meet him. He's been with me through everything, even when I was sick. Anyway, there's a lot of other men in my life that I think I might have the hots for but names are leaving me, so I'll just hope I meet a guy in a rival acapella group.

Courtney laughed and shrugged her shoulders, "I still dint know how I did it," she played with her wedding ring, a constant reminder of the love for her husband. "Though I can't really say I did anything. I've been in love with him since I was like five years old." She leaned her head on his, playfully patting his cheek, and she knew she hit the jackpot, her husband being the greatest man she had ever known.
