Huey cracks a joke, offering his costar a genuine smile. It was awful kind of her to check in on him, something most people didn’t do; they just assumed he’d be fine as long as he could get up. And while it was true, he was generally fine after a bit, it was nice to see that some people did care about his well-being.

“And why, thank you! I’ve seen you in those dramatic pictures, but I must say you’ve got some humor in you yourself! I think it’s awfully nice to smile often. Why, you cracking up almost has me breaking character!” It was nice to see someone he was so used to being in those sad shows smiling and laughing. It really warmed the heart!

“Say, I think I could convince them to let you do another funny if I tried. What do you think?”

She laughs once more, glad that he’s just as personable as the characters he portrays on screen. Some actors could be so cold, though she supposed the dramatics had more of a predisposition to such. They always thought too highly of themselves, in her opinion. 

❝I’m glad you think so. They’ve got me so pigeonholed for tragedies I was beginning to doubt I could do anything else.❞ Another laugh at her own “joke”, albeit a bit bitter this time. ❝It’s nice to smile! Life is far too short to take so deadly serious.❞ Or in her case, starting to stretch out too long to have to be serious all the time.

Her eyes light up at his offer. ❝Do you think you could? I would love that, I don’t think I’ve had this much fun making a movie in forever.❞ Her expression changes into a more thoughtful one. ❝I should warn you, they’ve been very hard to budge. I had to be an annoyance for months on end to get them to let me do this one.❞

Comedy was a new genre to Pandora, truthfully something she had to beg the studio head for as they currently had her pinned as the melancholic drama girl. She was enjoying the change in genre, and thankful it was a silent picture because she kept erupting into laugher while watching scenes be filmed.
