Yes, you have a light.
But sometimes you shine so intensely that
the person facing you goes blind.
And you call this, "My sparkle bothers them."
No.
What bothers them isn't your sparkle, it's whom and when you shine for. I loved your light,
but not to attract others,
but for it to illuminate our path together.
But you went and turned your light to social media,
to a stage collecting applause. Admit it,
your light is no longer a guide,
but a tool.
To gather attention,
to get likes,
not "to shine" — but to be pointed at. But remember,
true light doesn't prove itself.
You burn and you get warm.
I will no longer choose to stay in the shadows.
Because while you were sharing your light with everyone else,
I forgot myself in the darkness. I hope your light helps you find someone as you wish.

What a beautiful man, what a beautiful friend you are. There's never been anyone like you in this world. I guess you're specially made.

"This time, you hurt and upset me so deeply that I don’t even know what to say. I kept asking myself ‘why’ all night long. This wasn’t jealousy — this was you stepping on me. Maybe I’ve made a lot of mistakes in the past, but this time, the mistake isn’t mine. I don’t accept it. And despite everything, I still love you so much and think about you constantly… Every moment without hearing from you feels like hell to me."

“We’re all seeking that special person who is right for us. But if you’ve been through enough relationships, you begin to suspect there’s no right person, just different flavors of wrong. Why is this? Because you yourself are wrong in some way, and you seek out partners who are wrong in some complementary way. But it takes a lot of living to grow fully into your own wrongness. And it isn’t until you finally run up against your deepest demons, your unsolvable problems—the ones that make you truly who you are—that we’re ready to find a lifelong mate. Only then do you finally know what you’re looking for. You’re looking for the wrong person. But not just any wrong person: it's got to be the right wrong person—someone you lovingly gaze upon and think, “This is the problem I want to have.”

“You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She's not perfect—you aren't either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break—her heart. So don't hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she's not there.”

“Unconditional love is like a country of two with no laws and no government. Which is all fine if everyone is peaceful and law abiding. In the wrong hands, though, you got looting and crime sprees, and let me tell you, the people who demand unconditional love are usually the ones who will rob and pillage and then blame you because you left your door unlocked.”

“You can't hurt me the way you think you can. But even if you could? I would rather die with the taste of you on my tongue than live and never touch you again. I'm in love with you, D. I love you. No matter what you do.”
