Update: v0.9 has been updated with a bug fix.

My new project Water Oni has been completed! I meant to work on another project in hiatus for a year, but couldn’t due to certain issues. To remain active, I instead decided to create this game instead. This is the first game I’ve made which can actually count as a horror game.

The game takes around 60-90 minutes to complete. The controls are standard RPGMaker controls. Don’t forget to check out the readme if you run into some issues with the game, it contains lots of useful information.

I have been rewatching videos of Class Oni, and it is really interesting seeing how much I’ve learned since the very first oni game I have made. I may want to revisit that project some time in the future.

Unfortunately as of right now, there are no new updates on the new project, due to several roadblocks I have run into. With staffing issues, we will have to put the new project on indefinite hiatus, but I am hoping to return to the project someday when the issues have been resolved. Until then, stay tuned!

Making decent progress on the new project!

It's me. I enjoyed your games because it's basically a parody of Clock Tower style RPG Horror Games. Also, I want to give you updated sprites of the ones I gave to you.

My newest project is underway! v0.1 is now being testplayed.

My new project Train Oni is now finished! After one weekend of development, and two weeks of testplaying and debugging, the newest game in the dungareepants Ao Oni fangame series is ready for the public, featuring both random chases and lots of puzzles.

The game takes around 1 hour to complete. The controls are standard to RPG Maker games controls.

There is a known bug where sometimes when the player is caught by the oni, the game will freeze. This is a bug I unfortunately do not know how to fix. Read the readme to find out more.

I am making an Ao Oni-esque game but I want to know how you manage to make the enemies chase the player in multiple rooms since I did that and it didn't work.

I use this very helpful guide on how to make a chaser, and simply customize it to suit whatever situation I need the oni to appear in. I wish you luck on your game!

The download link to Kylee Oni has been updated!

Finally, it is finished! After 7 days of development and 2 days of test playing, Kylee Oni is now published.

Kylee Oni is a fangame of Twilight Oni by 2010LifeGame, which is a fangame of Ao Oni and of @kyleehenke made with the RPGMaker VX Ace. Gameplay takes roughly around an hour, and there are three different endings to the game.

Controls are fairly simple. Arrow keys to move, z to confirm and to examine, and x to cancel or to open the menu. Hold down shift to dash. (Watch out! The chases are very cutthroat)
